The play you're asking about is a PA Crosser without the PA. It's typically done from trips or bunch formations. The triple all do crossing, typically at 3 different levels. The weak side TE/WR and the RB routes vary by coaches. The weak side WR typically run a block and swing, block and cross, or quick out. The RB typically runs a cross and go/wheel behind the trips.

That wasn’t Bobby P’s offense. That was Jimbo’s offense. He made Bobby learn their terminology and their play scheme’s. You’ll see more of what you saw at Missouri state vs Arkansas game last year. Bobby was calling plays off what jimbo had setup over the years.

@@justinfreeman3806the last 3 games, which looking like makes up a lot of these plays in this video early on, we’re most likely Bobby P plays. From the Miss St game on, it no longer looked like Jimbo’s playbook. I’m sure it still was, but the qb runs and some of those crazy wrinkles were not Jimbo plays.

@@justinfreeman3806 I’m sure. I watched a lot of tape on Petrino from Arkansas and Louisville before the season. I was surprised when our offense looked almost exactly the same as Jimbo’s, just uptempo and of course a little of FTS. Went back to being a slow Jimbo offense after QB1 went down around game 4. Game 10-12 was all Bobby P with a big emphasis on game 12. That’s why this guy featured so much LSU tape on here.

To be honest, I believe Teslaa, if used correctly, could be a really good WR option in a Petrino offense. I just feel like he was put in really difficult situations this past season.

Petrinos best at coaching,in game watching defenses make the same mistake to cover on every play. And then calling a play ,that well bust wide open for a score. On both run or pass.
