Arkansas River - West Drainage Improvements (Hwy 60) (Toad Suck Lock & Dam) Toad Suck Bridge

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is proposing to improve drainage on Highway 60 in Perry County, Arkansas.
Improvements include raising the grade of Highway 60 and constructing a drainage relief structure along the highway to minimize impacts from local flooding. A draft Section (4F) de minimis evaluation will be available for review that contains an assessment of potential impacts to Toad Suck Park.
An open house, in-person, public involvement meeting was held on Tuesday, April, 30, 2024. at Second Baptist Church (Student Center).
The project website (vpiph03-job-08...) provides a video presentation, the ability to view and download meeting materials and exhibits, and a place to provide online comments. All exhibits and information presented on the website will also be available at the in-person meeting.
