Come along as we explore the next Arkansas state park in the northwest section of the state.
This special place is nestled in Lee Creek Valley and was selected as a state park in 1933.
The Civilian Conservation Corps used native materials to build the parks, rustic style wood and stone structures that mirror the surrounding natural beauty. It now stands as one of the most intact CCC sites in the United States.
The park hosts a variety of programs and special events like the Ozark Mountain Bike Festival held annually in the spring.
