Arkansas Waterfalls

Cindy and I had never visited Arkansas before, so we decided to spend a week there in mid April 2023 to check out a few sights. We barely scratched the surface of what the state has to offer, but we saw enough to know a return trip is definitely in order. Cindy does all of the research for our trips and planned some view hikes as well as hikes to these 6 waterfalls. In order of appearance are Falls Creek Falls, Cornelius Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Collins Creek Cascades, Cedar Falls, and a small waterfall along the Seven Hollows Trail in Petit Jean SP that I don't think has a name.

Really spectacular. Thanks for sharing. Have you kept track of how many waterfalls y'all have been to? My child and I have been to 70 waterfalls mostly in SC, but also in NC, GA, and UT. Y'all must have surpassed that by now.

Thank you! Good for you guys on the 70 waterfalls! SC has some outstanding ones. I have no idea how many I've been to. I had been to hundreds before I met my wife in 2010, mostly in NC, SC, TN, and GA. Before we met, I spent a lot of time creek walking looking for undocumented and unnamed waterfalls. When I was still working, I had a retired friend that did the same and he found a lot of new ones. He would look during the week, then take me on the week ends. Hope you have a great summer!
