Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary (Series 2, Episode 2)

Over five days we explore the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary of the Northern Ikara-Flinders Ranges. This remote property is geologically fascinating and stunningly beautiful.
Activities include hikes, scenic 4WD drives and a flight over Arkaroola and nearby Lake Frome. With inclement weather causing road closures during our stay, we needed to continue with contingency planning for the next planned leg of our journey up the Birdsville Track.
At the end of this episode, we take the eastern route out of Arkaroola to Copley, before staying at the heritage township of Farina.
