This gmv looks more like the story of when the knight meets scarecrow. Scarecrow was so impressed at how Jason was imuned to his toxin (because of joker) scarecrow decided to help Jason.

to be honest, I would prefer having arkham knight as the main character instead of batman in the game, but hey, since they are "done with arkham games", they could make a red hood game at least

It woud actually make more sense if Jason was the protagonist, imagine Jason is the Arkham Knight and feeds information to Scarecrow to get a dig at Batman. At the chemical plant he's left for dead as Scarecrow cuts off a loose end - and in the halucionation Jason sees the Man who tortured him, Joker. Jason sees his fears of becoming the Man who killed him and the death of those he once loved, like Barbara, and becoming someone like Joker or even the Bat himself.Scarecrow is now on a full attack on Gotham, and Jason cant have that - Bruce should suffer, not the people. Taking down the cloudburst, killing his once loyal militia, ending Deathstroke, and a final confrontation with Batman, with reconciliation and forgiveness. And the thing about Batman becoming suddenly suicidal would make sense for Jason since he already is, and is a known loose canon. And him dying at the end like in the Knightfall protocol would be a fitting way for him to slink off and become the Red Hood letting the Arkham Knight die.
