I really wish Arknights had a ...smooth brain mode. I just want to know the story. I love gachas, but i am playing enough of them to fill my time but over and over i find Arknights media, fanart, music or animation which makes me want to play this game. But i know it would take a lot of time for me to play it all and sadly thats limited.

@@Veritanky eh, newer chapters have the option called story mode iirc. more dmg, more hp, reduced deployment time, the quicker set-up also, just use guides! they'll help a lot

@@eigengrau7698 Yeah, but plainly - I dont have spare time to invest into another game. Already quit more time consuming gachas/games and playing only hsr/genshin. With their story updates which can take even 6h I do not have time for another gachas, as I am able to play story only on weekends. Beauty of working 9-7/8. I could probably spend hour or two in weekends, but its just faster for me to play playlist when i work.

@@Veritanky Yeah, in my opinion first season did much better job telling the story compared to game (first 3 chapters). While second season wasn't bad by itself in general, compared to the game (chapters 4,5 and 6) I couldn't like it that much so I'd definitely recommend you read in game first then watch the anime to see it animated if you'd like.

Ah... yes. Pretty much describes why I can't get into Arknights. Too much glass for me to take. In all good ways, sometimes this game just hits too hard. ...while I am still having PTSD from Girls' Frontline, lol. My mind just refuses to get more of suffering, I guess.

@@smouk4302, Girls' Frontline was, is and, probably, will be one of the most F2P friendly gachas. However, the progress may be slow at first. I believe, some of characters were limited to events or collabs, but not many. In terms of gameplay it's more about micromanagement and logistics with mix of puzzles. Not everyone's cup of tea. Story is starting boring, but gets really good from 8-9 chapters and story events, if I remember it right. I would recommend to give it a try if you have enough patience. It's old, it's weird at times, but still decent. I believe, there are many videos or text posts about lore and story stuff in case of game itself being too specific for you.
