Tight? Using skills in accordance to the boss is much easier to pull off than doing it when enemy x crosses y tile. Also since Degen's skill only takes 30s to charge you don't have to worry about it not being ready in time

@@billlee3851 What I meant was the boss' unlit skill having such a short window and not degenbrecher's skill activation. You can see in blemichi's past video where they showed bloopers failing to one shot the boss multiple times with degen. That's what I meant by tight timing.

I've found that you need to activate Suzuran's skill just a little bit before the boss stops, rather than exactly when the boss stops. But it's probably just because my reactions are very slow.

Basically, you need to nuke him when he is casting his skill to deactivate the heater, the animation takes a bit of time which stops him from activating the invincibility and nuke.

Aaaaaugh, I couldn't kill him with this for some reason! Not sure if it's because my Degen is lv 60, her module is lv 1, I swapped Elysium for Saileach, My Warfarin being S2 M2, or some combination of it all, but even when I brought in Shamare for her doll he didn't take enough damage to go down. :/ ...maybe a heater went out in the middle of Degen's skill... iirc he has damage resistance, not increased defenses, so maybe that's why even Shamare couldn't make up the difference... Edit: I figured out every additional measure I needed to make this strat work for me. Swap Saileach for Shamare (who goes to the right of Suzuran), drop the doll for phase 1. For phase 2, in order to kill him before his skill animation finishes, recall Texas for a deployment slot AFTER all the enemies in her lane are cleared, drop Suzu's skill and the doll a tad early (while he's splitboxed, before he starts his skill), Activate Degen's skill at the exact moment he does, and finally drop in Yato AlteR S3 to deal that tiny bit of extra damage needed in the space allowed. Then plop in a Mudrock where Texas was to prevent leaks. Bagpipe might work too. Oh yeah, and make sure as many lights are lit as possible at all times.

I tried this strat so many times and Harold finally snapped on the 2nd phase, his health bar disappeared and just rapid fire one-shotting my entire team without doing any of his unlit skill wtf

Haha, like RS-8 I replaced Warfarin with Stainless S1 and it works. My Warfarin still at E1 xD unlike my Stainless! My Degen just level 77 and no module tho, need to activate Stainless skill.

Aak alone probably won't be enough, you don't really have to depend on Degenbrecher alone, You can also use any ops that can kill faster like yato alter s2 at that period of time

This does not work without mod level 3 for degen huh? Mine is also level 90 but cannot kill. I didn't think a module can make up 40% diff...That can't be right?

It's actually still doable even without module, but a bit slower. You can also bring extra unit to help kill the boss during that period, try yato alter s2

Can I replace elysium and ejya alter? Any mastery or level necessities?

Elysium replaceable with any vanguard, just make sure you can print dp fast enough, as eyja alter, use mulberry in her spot and activate her s2 for burst heal, if It's still not enough deploy ptilopsis next to gg for another heal source. Degenbrecher, warfarin and suzu mastery probably necessary ( check description to see every operators mastery )

After 20 tries of failure I gave up this strat, idk how much de's mod 3 matters coz I only got mod 1. I always seems to fail killing the boss first phase so this strat is not for me I guess

You need to deal lot of damage during that short period of time, try using those who can launch big damage faster, like yato alter s2, also you can bring skalter to buff degen more

I think this has been patched. Replicated it exactly & it just doesn't work. Boss' invul always procs.

Without suzu you need multiple more degen skill so def suzu, GG role to lit up the lamps can be replaced by the flints, ethan, kirin yato, etc
