The potential to change directions in the same deployment is so simple and impactful. I love her design, because jessicat is jessicat, but something inside of me would always imagine what a new-new operator would look like with this kit. These alters dither as more come out. Great video 😮

@@zekzero0727 While that's not impossible (seeing as one of her modules ought to increase the shield talent), it would be significantly more powerful than it seems at first glance due to the shields interaction with skills, so don't expect a large reduction.

That shield Mechanic really amazing tho. Make the ops can turn around can be really benefit. Are we gonna have enemies that can Make our ops turn around? They actually make it. Witch king not just make you turn around, He redeploy you to other direction, reset your SP, and change your position.

Her mechanic alone makes it unique. Even if it’s just moving her direction. A little bit like that literally is a game change because of how you can directly aim at certain points in case you need to hit certain enemies. Also her s3 when she activists, I think I can hear a cat scream or meow when she drops the shield or something. Like a kitty going berserk 😂

Maybe something like all enemies are visible in their range and operators gain more damage when in their range, giving them a Deadeye range. I feel like Jessicalters archetype should be called something like stormtrooper, as she's essentially a sniper OP deployed on ground tiles.

The same way you can put 2 Ch'en or 2 Reed. Not even on global is there any limit to alters and originals being deployed together, since it was a bad mechanic to begin with (even if it makes sense 'story-wise').

The way her linear range works, not letting her hit enemies blocked by the shield if they come laterally looks incredibly frustrating. Being mostly single target isn't great either. I'm thinking this is a skip for me

She is more defender than a dps (looking at you, horn, mudrock, and penance) so yeah, her dps is lacking compared to the dps defender, let alone an actual dps operator. . Some showcase made it clear that if the stage timing align with her shield redeploy she can nearly solo that stage. But obviously, such stages are rare, on top of increasingly annoying enemies gimmick (looking at you, bird head seaborn with 80%/80% dodge, pick up vehicle, invisible enemies, and more of you)

Yeah horn, penance and mudrock it just really special but aslo really weird defender cause why the hell defender in this era have crazy dps and survivability XD. Back then There's only saria, Hoshi, nian and probably blemishes to but blemishine dps not as crazy than those 3 defenders we have now

@@AliciaShakurei Why? Because of nature of humans that just like things to go boom. Defenders were hardly used, except if they were absolutely necessary for high-level clears, since blocking was inferior to just making the enemies die faster. Hence why making defenders with high offense (and Horn brings more offense than many of pure-DPS operators...), some of their usability will return to high-end play. Also, there are enemies that require block 2/3 and enemies that will melt any other operator while being walking fortresses themselves...but yeah.
