[Arknights] Should you pull Ulpianus banner?

i feel like you underestimate ulpianus. Has the best afk skill in the game currently, works perfectly outside AH and brings new mechanics to the game. Yes gladiia helps him a lot with module, but its not that necessary

I agree. With Gladiia he's absolutely broken and can just face tank the majority of bosses in the game. Which could be a huge benefit to a lot of non-veteran accounts and accelerate their progress. Given that Gladiia is welfare and guaranteed on every account that is a pretty safe way to boost your account. Granted it does cost twice as much as a normal 6* but Gladiia is strong too and serves as a lane holder, shifter, or just dps while Ulpianus is beating on the boss. If you don't pair him with Gladiia he's still an amazing lane holder by himself which again is a huge boost to many accounts. Now in this case there are already a lot of great 6* lane holder options. However, any account that is missing a solid 6* lane holder should probably pull for Ulpianus because again, it can really accelerate your progress. For veteran accounts he's probably skippable unless you already built the entire AH team in which case you might want to get him. That being said, veterans can pretty much skip anyone they want so I don't think this really even matters. Finally, but least important, his base skill paired with Gladiia and other AH is really good since you don't have to invest in anyone but Gladiia to get a bunch of strong factory workers.

@@ian59 i agree with all this but also, we're getting some weak banners in the next few months. Pepe, nymph, marcille. They're not bad units at all, but i think ulpianus is easily the best ouf of these

@francescosorce2436 True. I would say that Nymph and Ulpianus have a lot in common since they're both broken with their ideal partner. Ulpianus has a big advantage though since his partner is welfare and Nymph's is limited.

Gameplay wise with the exception of Lapter, Ulpianus was rated the highest by most Arknights content creators. I've been waiting for him for 6 months. I saved a lot of pulls before and during Wis'adel and Logos banner. I will definitely pull for Ulpianus and probably skip Nymph. You would only want Nymph for her skill 2, other than that Logos is superior in every way. Nymph's skill 3 requires Virtuousa. I'll pull for Ulpianus, then Narantuya, Vina and then Lapter.

ulpianus is interesting for me. this purely ingame pov, not about favorite bias etc. he is strong operator no doubt. it is just, i will be realistic here. if i have ulpianus, i mostly will use his s2. and that thought make me feel like "yes if i am lucky when pulling. if not, is his s2 really worth my pulls?" and with that thought alone + a lot of future operators i want to pull, sadly i need to skip him. he is just not match with my playstyle sadly. so for his banner, i will just channel my luck to whoever pulling him.

I think I'm gonna skip him even though i already build AH squad but I almost don't use them at all and i want virtursa so i need to save up 300pull for lappy alter banner

I don't need him nor i care about him so skip for me it is. I have Nymph and Pepe to pull in near future and thats more important :D
