[Arknights] The Missing Tags of Arknights

Operators have tags. We use them for recruitment and all that but... have you noticed that some operators are lacking some seemingly obvious tags?

For me the weirdest missed tag has to be Magallan for being a summoner without the summon tag.

I got a top op tag with a summon tag and I instantly assumed I could guarantee mag, I check online to see tag combos and she isn't there. Like what..?

@Filipe That isn’t the case, 9 of the 18 6* in recruitment have single or double tag combos to pair with top op that target them (see below). Which only makes obvious omission even stranger. AoE+Healing probably being the strangest non-existent combo. @@Where_would_I_go_without_you Actually it is kinda obscure but you can see the enemy that Gravel attacks loses HP two times per attack. Also Gravel hits twice in both the animation and the sound effect.

AOE seems to be missing on a lot of ops its not on Fiammetta, W and Rosmontis whos normal attacks are all AOE, its also not on Mountain or Eyja who have multiple AOE skills and its not on any AOE medics.

I think most of these are because one of their skill has a property, and the other doesnt. Like jaye s1 does not heal and sora s2 does not put enemies to sleep. But its really inconsistent like ambriel only having s1 as a slow, but her s2 does not but she is still slow

Yeah, the tags are wacky with how they used, but there is at least a bit of consistency with them from what it seems. The healing tag seems to be used exclusively for operators that can heal other allies, so it makes sense that Jaye and Mr. Nothing don’t have it since they can only heal themselves, this extends to Estelle as well with her talent. For the Abjurer girl it’s likely the case they don’t have the healing tag because before their branch rework and Tsukinogi was the only one in the branch, she couldn’t heal like she does now. And after the rework HG didn’t bother to update their tags. Its not like they can’t either since Conviction has 4 tags in the tag box. Also, I’m one of the 3 people on this planet that actually use the Abjurer girls. I’m gonna have Nine-Colored Deer at M6 today in a few hours, I have Quercus and I’m gonna do the same thing. Unfortunately I don’t have Tsukinogi yet but I WILL get her sooner or later. They aren’t as bad as people make them out to be.

AoE healers don't get the AoE tag. Which is fine, they're multitarget. But then why tf do AoE guards get them? *stares angrily at Popukar*. And if AoE guards get them because their target count isn't as limited since you can increase their block count, why tf don't Shift specialists get the same tag?
