Hi there, glad that you found something that works for you. When you record with your phone, turn it to the landscape position so that you don't have this thin black stripe that is your video.

Thanks! I know what you mean. But I actually chose portrait for this as the room is small - and this way I didn't have to keep swinging the phone up and down as most things were tall!

Hi Serena! I haven't tried it with my dslr. It's pretty sturdy, I would think that you can tighten things up enough to hold your camera. You should contact Aaron at Arkon.com and he might be able to help you more. They also now have a version that clamps to a table. It's a great tool!

Serena Bee Creative did you end up getting one?? My tripod broke today! Now that model is 200$ & I don’t want to pay that but it’s spoiled me & it’s such a good one Idk what to do! I read some negative reviews above this one on Amazon so I’m on the fence but I need to film so I need to make decisions! Lol 😋🎀💜🍭

Hi there! I’m looking for a new tripod as my amazing “mini” overhead tripod has broke 😭 it’s not really mini but I mean compared to your big one it’s mini lol. It’s basically a smaller version of a large professional one & a has a nice long arm/boom. I use a very small small sand bag & it works great. Anyway its finally broke & I’m looking for a good new overhead option. When I found this product on Amazon I thought it was the answer but there is a bunch of negative reviews saying the arm slowly falls while filming. Others commented that those people were not using it right... I was wondering your opinion seeing as you’ve had it for a while. It’s priced at 107$ Canadian on Amazon . ca
