Coming from a c6 neuvillete main and a c1 arle owner I agree c6 arle is the best boss killer best single target dps, a c6 can neuvi can however hold his own against bosses while being a tier above in aoe spin 2 win and self sustain comfortably. Both are great and certainly are a tier above the others:)

Something to note for people that don't understand. The two first bosses are horrible to use Hydro on, Electro takes application down for hydro and Electro shields do not budge against Hydro nearly as much as when "overloaded", the best way to crack Electro shields outside of cryo. The second boss doesn't need much explaining as it is a boss designed to resist Hydro and if you have pyro you automatically have Vape on command. You'll notice the last boss, the only neutral aligned element, they are closer in clear speed with Neuvillette edging out due to constant damage vs Burst/set up time. Let me know if I'm missing something but to my knowledge this is what's really going on (tested with my own characters to verify, but I'm not a top tier TC). This was a fun demo, but to the uninitiated it makes Arlecchino look leaps and bounds better when in fact this highlights the proficiency of using reactions properly. Neuvillette brute forcing it anyways is more a testament to his universality. That being said, Arlecchino does currently top Neuvillette outside of AoE heavy content because of how accessible reverse vape is right now. Forward vape has no truly reliable applicator unless you use Xiangling in melee range and even that is spotty (Natlan might fix this, but it's still jank.. and pyro has a tendency to react immediately with elements instead of stay on). So we won't know the extent of Neuvillette in forward vape until we get a reliable Pyro applicator. These bosses heavily favor the "heat" categories of damage (pyro, electro).

The third boss ofc neuvi won on since his team had an electro char (lisa) on it to break the dendro shield faster, while arle team only had pyro as a (terrible) way to break it, along with a hydro char to put out the burning reaction quite often. cuz of this, neuvi's team broke the boss' shield in a few secs while arle's team never broke it. to make it fair, i think a chevreuse overload team on arle team would've been better since you can use fischl/yae to break shield, then trigger overload and start doing dps stuff after shield is broken.

On the long run who liked Arlecchino over Neuv simply cuz she was more fun with more damage, Neuv is better simply because you dont have to worry about your character dying or being low on hp. However if you are too good at dodging i would say aarle is the best for you.

def shred on A4 probably, and ye faster electro applciation. And if you think kuki would be better because she heals, not really. You really do not need to max fanfare for Furina to be useful + you're starting this fight with max hp so you already get plenty of stacks. On top of all of that, this a C3 Furina, C1 gives a flat 150 fanfare and C2 increases fanfare gain by 250% meaning Neuviellte self healing alone isprobably enough to get max stacks.

You could say that kuki can use freedom sworn, but you already get so much dmg% from Furina that the def shred is way more valuable. Lastly, I’m fairly certain neuv can get the C4 orbs from his self-healing

both are Aoe specialist, Neuvi is just the best at it in game due to laser, which is really unique to him. For example childe is the first iteration of an AOE specialist yet look how limited his AOE actually without anemo assistance.

@@trinixjin8039 Arle is not an Aoe specialist. Arle's dmg was designed primarily to burst a single target which many other chrs can do faster than Neuvi. What sets Neuvi exceptional from others is his overpowered flexibility. The video proved that Neuvi clears the challenge literally in the same time with Arle while Arle drastically lags behind Neuvi in terms of Aoe.
