Almost 80 degrees today and sunny in Dallas Tx. Beautiful weather for outdoor activities in Arlington. Be nice if tickets weren't $100-150+ and then $50-60 to park.

@rockstargrader I stopped going when I had to start paying for tickets. I worked at various dealership for many years here in the area with always the perk of free tickets and sometimes parking and pit credentials.

@@rockstargrader takes the fun out of it. I've been going since 1980 when tickets were $14-15 and just wal into the pits. Cotton Bowl days at Dallas Fair Park.

Races are very hard to organize these days. The only people who care about the racing are either the ones doing the racing, or they’re sat at home watching these videos. And since more people are choosing to stay home and watch from a distance, organizers have less of a budget to work with, and so they need to make the tickets more expensive. And tickets aren’t really much more expensive when you consider the price of admission to concerts and the like. In conclusion, less people care, the ones to care don’t want to pay anything, and organizers aren’t receiving any sponsor deals because no one is coming to the races.
