It’s soooo refreshing to see someone admit to their baby sleeping on their bed! I feel like it happens more often than people admit! I am on the same boat! It’s so much easier to breast feed but it’s so exhausting. ❤️❤️

Try putting the crib side car with your bed instead of jumping all the way to the end step of sleeping in another room. Little steps. And honestly I hate using cribs... having it set up as a daybed is way nicer because you can lay with them until they fall asleep. Hes not really old enough yet but that was the only way that made the whole crib thing doable for me. Both my stepson and daughter were shriekers too! Hes so cute and I cant believe how big he is already!♥️

Love that idea! Cribs honestly just seem kind of cold and scary so I’m not surprised many babies cry in them and want closeness 🤍🤍🤍

I am just watching this now, my daughter just turned 8 months this week and you have described the past few weeks for us lol. Leap 6 so far is HARD with lots of tantrums, crying (she used to not be a big cryer), crawling everywhere, into everything, she started crawling right as she turned 7 months and is completely over it and wanting to walk so she gets frustrated and pulls up on everything. It can be so hard to keep up with them at this age! So glad to hear all of this. Thank you for sharing.

This video is almost the exact description of my now 10.5 month old. 😊 She was crazy colicky, hated car seats, plays independently yet wants mommy when she wants mommy, had to change diet for breastfeeding, haha all the things for sure. I love your videos especially about the kids and mom life! My son will be 9 months this Friday so I love following along your journey with Arlo because I can relate so much. I have a 4 year old daughter so their age gap is bigger than your kids. I definitely would say it was harder for me and my husband transition to 1 child vs 1-2. Luckily my son is independent just like you’re describing Arlo and is just so chill which makes it easier! Look forward to more of your videos!

Girl!! I just wanted to tell you I could relate to this video SO SO MUCH!! My baby is turning one the 19th of this month and she still sleeps in bed with us and nurses basically all night long 😭 I don’t know how I’ll ever wean her bc she loves to nurse!! And I haven’t really tried to get her to sleep in her crib yet bc I know she will probably be up SO MANY times to nurse!!! Please keep us updated with what you are doing bc at this point I think she will be nursing until she’s 5 & never getting out of our bed! I love it but at the same time my bf and I would love to be able to snuggle more! And just have some alone time at the end of a long day!!! So I can relate 100%!!!! Always a fan Olivia! Leap 6 was crazy for us too! Our baby girl was definitely more fussy than usual... and her sleep was SOOOO thrown off. Since he got out of it, it's been like night and day! But it was so cool to see how differently her brain processed information and such afterward compared to before she went into the leap. Girl, I know you understand because Arlo is your second... watching babies grow up is so incredible! It makes me sad how fast it's happening but it's also so rewarding seeing her learn and develop so much.

We co sleep and bed share. Its biologically normal for babies and toddlers, dont feel bad! Extremely common for breastfeeding relationships. There are mama groups on facebook and all over for support and correct information. Co sleeping babies are more independent, confident, etc... Western society and the medical system is terrible with giving mothers advice on co sleeping!! Whats not normal is putting your infant alone, in a crib down the hall and never responding to it. So youre doing great! Do not feel bad please. Youre an amazing mother. Look into james mckenna mother baby sleep lab :)
