Isn’t it amazing the amount of light those tiny fairy lights emit? It makes your mailbox stand out beautifully. I missed your car chats, and was happy to have it return. I love hearing you tell your stories. That vitamin A overload was scary. Fad diets don’t work anyway. I don’t recall hearing the entire story before. Sure was interesting! I also didn’t know that Gracie was as old as she is....she looks like a younger dog. You are so lucky to have/had such wonderful pups. I have been decorating the last few days, and am pretty tired. I am not sure I am behaving concerning my hip restraints, but so far so good. I am using so many of your ideas, and I feel so pleased with the results. I always think, Arlynn would be proud of me! Oh Arlynn,I'm so sorry about your Mom.I lost my Dad 4 years ago and my Mom is currently suffering with Dementia,You're so right about it being an awful and cruel disease! May God bless you and your family:)

I work at the P.O. 31 yrs. Three more years until retirement. I love my customers. We share recipes gifts etc. Yes, this is our busiest time of the year and we are working a lot of hours. But i LOVE the holidays😀😀💕💕

Really enjoyed getting to know you some through this video, love the way the mail box looks. Have been caring for my mama for 15 years with Alzheimer's and just lost my husband of 41 years in august whom I cared for for the last 10 years to Alzheimer's. I agree it is a horrible horrible diesease.

I worked as practical nurse with the elderly for an number of years ( I worked on a casual basis as my family always came first; 4 children and married 46 years yesterday !!!) and I know how much the old folks enjoyed our resident dog.. So nice that you took the dog around to other folk, but your right don't beat yourself up about not being able to go back. So nice to hear you openly talk about being a Christian. I could tell that you were, What a wonderful heritage to be part of a Christian family. I too am a Christian being brought up in a Christian family. We are not perfect but we are very blessed. Oh hon, my heart is so full of love for you and your heart. I am a Christian also and am very proud of it. I lost my step dad and three days later my mother. I understand your grief. The one good thing is, it warms your heart to remember them. My siblings and I even say to this very day......I can hear mom saying " You girls behave and stop that.....lol". Our lives run so much alike to each other it amazes me. Hubby and I have been 38 years. One child, adopted, and so proud of him. Family is everything and we need to cherish each moment. You are a wonderful, dear, and loving person. May God always bless you and your family.

You are right not to beat yourself up about not being able to go into a nursing home. My mom passed from dementia I still can't stand the thought of doing it either. This will be the second Christmas that my mom joined my dad in heaven. She spent one Christmas in assistant living and one in the nursing home. I know the twinge on pain the Holidays can bring, but I want you to know that watching your Christmas decorating series sure helps me feel in the holiday spirit . Thank you and one little question. Hi Arlynn- I just love your Car Chitchats. I felt like I was in the car with you. I think we were raised the same. I was raised in church my whole life& and a Christian. Don't put yourself down about the nursing home. My father passed a year & a half ago & was in a nursing before his passing then, my husband was in the same nursing home last year after heart surgery & and kidney failure. We almost lost him but God reached down & delivered him. We are both thankful that he is doing so well. We serve a loving God. Your sweetness has lifted me up more than once. My family was disfunctional to say the least...but...like you..I refuse to allow that to make me negative or bitter.I have four sons,six grandchildren and two great grandsons! The photos of the girls were just adorable!! I nursed my husband of 24 years when he had cancer...he passed in 2011...and I have been so very lucky to find love again at the grand old age of sixty....and we were married in August this year.One of the many reasons I love your channel...and you..is your positive 'can do' attitude. Hey Arlynn........love your beautiful scarf, so festive looking :) Loved your car chit chat, as I had mentioned to you before I also lost my beloved mom to Alzheimer's in 2014.......I can relate girl, it is a terrible disease, and it is heartbreaking to have a loved one go through this. My dad is 86 years old, and sharp as a tack, he is Ex-Military and is involved with many activities, his fav thing to do is sing in the Church Choir, it is his passion. Loved seeing the photos of your sweet girls, so adorable.......I am 62 years old and will be married 35 years to my husband this Spring, we have 2 amazing boys aged 21 and 27. Sam looked so handsome at the nursing home........did you have Sophie, Sam and Gracie right from being puppies ? Because I have a big family we too have had our share of family loss. I have been widowed twice and am so very sorry for all who are going through the holidays without their loved ones that have gone home. We have suffered the loss of grandparents, parents, a uncle, in-laws, cousins, and as resent as a brother and a few days ago a dear friend. One thing I can say, that it is only through the grace of God that we can go through this life. Your words and your smile reach out to so many of us. That was fun, learning a bit about you. Your dad sounds like fun. I lost mine to mesothelioma in 2009. I really miss him this time of year. He LOVE Christmas. I can't take vitamins either. My body holds things like calcium and potassium. Extra is supposed to be eliminated. But not for me. I have to get my blood checked every 3 months. My husband and I celebrated out 45th anniversary in April. We are 68. Love you.. xoxo

As always to my "never met ya...wish I was your neighbor" friend. :). I just knew we are "soul sisters"! I too am a Christian.... loved your car chat! One thing...I totally understand the nursing home thing.....I lost my Dad to an anesthetic mistake when he was only 59...my brother to cancer at the age of 44...my dear first hubby of 34 years to cancer and my mom to cancer. People say to me..." Why don't you work with hospice"? I simply can't..just can't...I would sit and cry all the time....the Lord knows my heart as He does yours...so happy you feel no guilt about the nursing home...I feel non about hospice..I too am a chatty kathy and do my best helping people in a non threatening way for me !. Hi Arlynn the mailbox looks great! 💖I bought me a few fairy lights to and may I ask you do you use certain make of double A batteries for your lights? Mine has a timer also they are on 6hr and off. They come on at 6:40 pm on for 6hrs. I just put batteries in n them again 2 days ago and they are going dead already 😩Any ideas? I appreciate it.

Hi Quadena...Thanks so much about my mailbox. Regarding what batteries I purchase...honestly, whatever is on sale...haha. We usually get Duracell though...I have no had that issue with my fairy lights, in fact they work like a charm for quite a while (I set the timer on mine too). I'm so sorry, maybe you're right, maybe it is the type of battery you're using. :/

Fabulous! Like visiting with my best friend! I live in a wonderful condo and do not decorate much. The iron Christmas tree and cut glass tree....both table top......that I mentioned previously are my staples. There is a contest in the community for best holiday decoration. Cash prizes, but not sure I will enter. Like you, I have no grandchildren......one child, a wonderful son....who is the light of my life. Very little family....I turn 70 next year....Oh my goodness! Where did time go? I live alone and after working all my life finally retired 4 years ago. Gosh, sorry.....I feel like we are having lunch catching up and having a good time. I do enjoy your videos so much! Sorry for my chatty nature! One more thing....I have two long hair Doxies. Sisters...same mom and dad. I grieved with you as you went through Sophie’s illness. QVC has a paw print ring....silver....that I want in memory of my two Pomerians I lost at the same time in 2007. I pray the Rainbow Bridge is the first stop behind the Pearly Gates! I met Chris through my best friend at the time...he was her cousin. :) She had a get-together at her house where she had invited him. He walked in and I was smitten right away and I guess he was too. :) We were married 9 months later. :)

Good evening girlfriend ! Them poor delivery people have been running non stop here too! I hate going out shopping all the people this time of the year gives me bad anxiety !
