Two of hales wins were less than perfect. He needed a “Parallel pin” which you basically never see called and then the pad moved while Gunnarson was still pulling. Plus hale fouled when he jerked out of the hook at the end to get the strap, PLUS one of gunnarsons pins didnt count due to another questionable call that favored Hale. Gunnarson played no childish games, no stupid mugging for the camera, and just arm-wrestled like a man. The better man.

Parallel pins are completely valid and common. Hale’s dodgy slip was pretty terrible but he lost the round anyways, plus arm wars rules are very lenient regarding slips. You can’t stop the pain train baby WOO WOO
