I went to school with Neil, he was and still is a top lad. He's been obsessed with arm wrestling for most of his life. All the lads used to arm wrestle Neil on the desks at High School. If your talking about his Devon practice, everyone looks weird against Devon Larratt. Brian has a toproll. Eddie just got beat by a 50 year old man who hasn’t arm wrestled in 15 years and who was telling him what he was going to do the whole time and coaching him during the supermatch. Brian Shaw easily beat Chris Kauffman who is a 40 year old national champ who still arm wrestles regularly. If you think it’s going to be close then you know nothing about arm wrestling sorry.

Make damn sure Eddie doesn't get hurt. He seemed in some pain there. A lot of people think Brian will roll over Eddie, but I think they're underestimating him. It should be a great match. Good for the sport for sure.

So interesting to see how much of a fight a pro can still put up in a bad position. This to me is the most obvious difference to a rookie, which pretty much are pinned the moment they get in a losing position. Or it's just Eddie being scared for his biceps.

Very impressive Eddie. Outside game good, inside game good, regripping really well, good knowledge in the setup. If the strength gap at the table isn’t heavily in Brian’s favour then this is a 50/50 match. Good luck to both

14:00 Eddie is nearly in tears because of tendonitis, no wonder Neil Pickup is winning with ease, Eddie is at 50%. I dont know how anybody is saying that he has a good chance of winning. This is a really bad sign.

@maxgamesst1 yes plus some antiinflammatory pills/gel, even injections, heat cream, plus some supportive stuff he probably takes anyways. Sooo he'll not be brand new but will be able to stand a match if he starts resting properly now.
