25 myself this was the first pc game i ever played at 11/12 years old and still no game has even come close to being as good as dayz mod so nostalgic i sunk thousands of hours into the game running home from school to play all night long just to do the same the next day

People went to go out and buy a new PC as this old game was KILLING their rigs like LOW FPS on LOWEST settings literally videos on how to increase FPS were trending 🤣🤣 People with laptops were sweating like fuck hahahhaha. Their laptops were melting. Everything they found something good they prayed for the gods not to cause their pc to crash from overheating hahhahhaha the good old days. The new game is SHITE. Takes you about 8 hours to get enough SHIT together (If you survive that long as ZERO people are friendly unless you in their clan) just to build a fucking campfire to cook your shit. You never had to do that in the mod ffs lol Its more realistic for sure, but somehow and i dont know HOW its even MORE janky and clunky than the mod was in 2014 a decade later. Like HOW?!

Should've made better choices in life, I also played as a kid and am 27 now but I don't work like a dog because I applied myself in my youth and landed an incredibly high paying job out of college that doesn't demand I spend my entire life in the workplace, meaning I still have plenty of time to play games like back in the day.

Same I was grew up on it too, but I'm 25. I only had like 5 hours of play time with Arma 2 Dayz since I moved to DayZ standalone when it came out :) It's crazy how much the Zombie Survival genre was saturated back then, then follow a couple years later, the craze became Battle Royale.

im 29, i got this game 2012/2013. i discovered a wasteland community and that summer was one of my best gaming sessions ever. 18 hours+ everyday! me and my freinds even managed to empty an 80 player server at one point.

I started playing Arma 2 dayz since a few months, i am pretty much new and can someone tell me a good european pve server? I play it alone cuz i have no one playing it ( yes i know its old but first, i dont have the money for arma 3 and my pc cant even handle arma 2 good) I always loved watching dayz videos and its so nice playing it myself but as we all know, dayz isnt easy ^^'

There aren't that many servers open so I can't really recommend any.. try using dayzlauncher to find the servers with low ping and lots of players!

There is a server called OxP and one called Sula´s that is PVE and european. I also recommend Bartertown (also PVE) server if you are interested in Origins mod :)

SA is better these days, but i personally not a fan of hunger, thirst and stamina balance on vanilla servers. It makes overall gameplay really slow and tortures. But modded servers are quite fun to play.

Yes, this is why I never stopped playing A2 Dayz mods. I would like a revamped version of A2 with modern graphics. No other changes. The exact same game with modern graphics and better tools for modding maps :)
