Thats true its all a preference it all is a balance between fun and realism and I have seen where 80+ people get slaughtered needlessly and the fun quickly ends personally I like being punished for my mistakes and like the feeling of not knowing if im about to die each time i crest. But like i said its a preference I don't hold it against your community but its the reason why I don't play

Let me explain since everyone thinks that the voices are low because i didn't turn up the volume ACRE is a realistic voice mod its direction and distance based. The farther a person is away from you the lower the volume of there voice. Just like real life if someone is 20 yards away from you there not gonna sound as loud as if they were right next to you. There is no setting to turn up there voice volume as its all distance based. And I watched it again I can hear everyone fine

This is the ACE/ACRE mod available through play six. It adds realistic sounds and stuff. Persay you have an m60 and fire off an entire clip. You will be deaf for a bit. The sounds change, the looks, some weapons are added, it's technically a whole new game.

I have ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead and it is impossible to get a M4 or a M16A4. Like how do you find them because I look on the dead militia because I keep seeing M16A4s on them but they don't have them anymore. I even looked at the weapons.

Combined operations is just a game pack of arma2 with an expantion, island life dayz and wasteland are mods of that pack
