@@tfs333actuallyonbbc2 If the Diesel has an electric fuel pump, the EMP toasts the pump and therefore the motor, which makes the Battlefield Campaign in the Straight of Hormuz unbelievable... Though any electrical system that is wholly inside a faraday cage might be safe. Since an EMP is inducing a current in targeted electrical systems mostly low voltage/current systems are destroyed by an EMP, like the computer that runs your modern motors (ECU).

I... actually like how this sounds rather honest. Instead of claiming to have a plethoria of new weapons, it does state which weapons are trully new and which are mere reskins of and from which DLC are they. It does mention the tractor as being brought back from Arma II, and how some of the more script-heavy gadgets of the campaign may work as mere cosmetics on multiplayer. It does bring a lot of new stuff, but also making sure everyone has a clear picture of what you are actually buying here.

The Standalone gravy train is over. This move is just "Look! We aren't dead yet!!" desperation. Bohemia Interactive, and SUMA before it, have a long, long tradition of biting off more than they can chew, waiting years and years between titles, and relying on luck that has nothing to do with their development plans to stay solvent (See: The stupidity of Codemasters, Virtual Battlespace dropping into their laps, totally unexpected popularity of Dayz Mod, etc.). If A4 flops, they'll be bankrupt within 2 years.

Soldiers chasing after you and you drive into the woods, because the ai has difficulty going through the woods, and it deters bmps, tanks and helicopters. @@SuperGman117 Would have been interesting to see Arma Livonia take place in the region of Livonia. Livonia itself is an almost extinct language and ethnic group with no country, so they would have fit very well in Arma as a fictional baltic state regardless. Kind of a wasted opportunity, since Arma Livonia is so close, yet not at the right place.
