Just learned that the author of this mod removed this content from public release. In my opinion it is a over reaction to a ridiculous accusation, and frankly, who cares. If I where the author I wouldn't give two shits if someone accused me of being in support of one group or another, there are still other mods depicting current groups in conflict. But this one is no longer avialable. Good job douchebags. Anyone who thinks making a mod about current events makes one a sympathizer to one group or another is a fucking moron. Do developers get accused of being Nazi sympathizers when they accurately depict Nazi Germany in a video game or movie? And even if they where, who the cares? It's Arma, and it's a USER made mod, it's what makes Arma great.

This mod is fkin sick! No idea why these punks think it's inappropriate; you're playing through the eyes of a soldier. Their world is your world for the duration of the game. Similar to how in Call of Duty, a single American soldier can take out an army. In real life, that's impossible but through the eyes of the soldier in the game it feels possible.

This video isn't a promotional video for ISIS, nor would ever be accepted as such by the real group. It's simply a mod showcase, the only time I've ever even played as ISIS is when making this video. The rest of the time I play against them. Some people who play Arma prefer realism, and current events. That's all this mod is, I also have mods for the war going on in Ukraine, and yes it represents both sides of the conflict. When a ww2 game is released no one accuses the developers of being Nazi sympathizers, because it's non sense. And so is your statement.
