T-140 Angara, the most ridiculously powerful tank of all tanks in Arma 3. I remember when my squads were having a joint ops milsim with several other squads from different countries and we faced several Angara K's. Hell, those tank scares the shit out of us until now because of it's very thick armor and terrifying weapons. It took 4 TITAN AT missiles to kill just one of them. Me and 2 other guys inside a Slammer UP tank (Merkava IV LIC) managed to kill them one by one, despite the casualties our infantry squads had. Good times.....

Thats strange. Can't say I have the same issue. the only thing I could try and figure out is that you may have your view distance settings too high so its trying to load the parts of the map within your view distance, but if you have it below 3km that shouldn't happen.

I dunno, the whole "Sheep Herding" feature seems really overpowered. By adding sheep herding into the game, you give players acting as civilians or non-combatants a feature which can significantly overwhelm the opposing armor. No one will run over a sheep; they're just too kind. Therefore, your vehicle auto-stop capability (as showcased in the trailer) is understandable. But the sheep herding is just another tool to make ambushes and too overpowered. And *this* is the last thing until Arma 4. Discusting

@@omLDN In Arma? Is it? Like I know it's like that IRL and supposed to be so in, say, War Thunder, since that game clearly indicates how it's trying to be realistic. Arma 3 of course won't have a hit screen like that though, but the weird thing is, all that seems true about Arma vehicles is how they all sorta have a big hidden HP bar. Even if the system is semi-modular, like how engines can be disabled, fuel tanks ruptured or tyres popped, at the very least there's a lot of room for improvement if they wanted to make it realistic, which isn't false for, say, War Thunder either, but it's seemingly somewhat closer to realism than Arma, which is a little bit funny. Not that I don't prefer Arma over WT for a couple reasons, but the damage physics of WT are seemingly better, and certainly better shown visually. Ultimately, all this comment led me to is the urge to start Arma, fire up the editor and just shoot vehicles in various places. I really wanna know how it works, it's a huge advantage if you know an easier way to destroy a tank than the enemy.

The biggest FPS hog is the PiP feature. Just like with any vehicle interior, the mirrors and camera displays can have a significant impact on performance. But you could always turn that off and rely on other ways of seeing. Btw, "if you have a bunch of tanks lined up and you turn your view towards them, your frame rate drops by by a 1/6 (from 60 fps to 50-52 fps), just because this horrific engine renders ALL vehicle interiors even though you not actually in them." That is false. Just go into the editor, spawn a bunch of tanks with AI in them, then press ESC and switch to the free moving camera, then move the camera inside of the tank. You'll see the AI, but you won't see any interior.

Actually I know of some more unoptimized games than this and tbh I have no issues even in multiplyer. a good CPU is key. There are a lot of factors counting in on that, the key being amount of scripts running. I get 60+ fps in ARMA when playing with my community with everything except post process set to high and a draw distance of 3000 meters. In public games though, the story is very different. The game could be optimized better, I agree. But a shitload of the popular game modes, such as KoH, Wasteland and ARMA life are so horribly optimized it's laughable, and that is the fault of the game mode authors, not BIS. They rely too much on unoptimized scripts, killing framerate.

The Weasel is modular and with heavy Infantry support in mind. But there is also a larger version with Medical Equipment for the field or troop transport. Manned and unmanned versions exists as it can be airdropped with the Fallshirmjaegers behind enemy lines.
