Yes, some romance languages like French and Spanish switched the QU digraph usage from making a "kw" sound to just a "k" sound. Using the letter K would have been simpler, as now they have to use CU as a replacement.

If you remove the spare wheel from a jeep you can then fit two crates inside it and I think that works for cars as well. 🤔
