Such a great job! Well done This video really highlights how there needs to be a full character animation overhaul. It's so wooden and obviously hand animated. The crouching walk anim is especially bad.

First of all I think you did a nice job on the video, I always enjoy your cinematics. I do have a question, are you using custom animations, or are they vanilla animations from the game?

These are the vanilla ones. I only have a small handful of mocap anims

Amazing video, quality is amazing but Reforger being a jank doesnt help, the ragdolls always looks soo stiff , hope they will fix that one day.

Beautiful video, great work man! I loved it! It’s a shame that the vanilla movement animations are a bit stiff, kinda looks like the characters are marionettes (e.g. Thunderbird puppets). In particular I’ve always disliked the crouched stance walk animation. Always seemed clunky. I’m sure this will get ironed out over the next couple of years and we’ll look back on this and think how dated it looks! 😂

Yeah I know. But Enfusion will allow me mocap in the future. So better anims are coming for sure
