I love the meta behind docking Boba Fett to a Raider. I imagine the Slave 1 hanging out the bottom of the Raider a bit like Chuck Yeager's X-1 hanging out the bottom of its B-29 mothership. An Imperial officer asks Boba, "Are you ready, Mr. Fett?" Boba growls back, "I was born ready." A guitar solo ensues.

Great stuff as per usual. :) Personally, I only bring Boba for fluff purposes only. Remember, the auto damage done on a ship is done to a shield side of the opponents choice. And the blue dice on squadrons isn't great either. Expensive rogue if you ask me. Still, it's Boa, so I bring him haha. Your logic is sound btw. NO reason it shouldn't work that way unless they forbid it with an faq. But why would they.

It can absolutely go to a shield, but in the event you are facing a CR-90, or another ship with low shields, that is still important. You start attacking a ship with black dice and they are going to be quickly using up their shields with redirects.

Prob never going to play Armada, but after I played Battlefront "Campaign" and listen to the Inferno Squad audio book I became a huge fan of Inferno Squad and luv the look of The Corvus. So I def want to buy the expansion just to own another model of this amazing ship. I still need to get X-Wings version as well and hope will get Epic 2.0 in 2019.

Also very much disagree with your assessment of jerry, he makes them amazing at higher speed maneuver wise, and the loss of a shield on a side your not getting shot isnt a big deal since you have no redirect token so those shields aint helping you anyway

So if an Instigator is screened by TIE Advanced Squadrons, do the Advanced's Escort ability take effect? Because if so, it may give the Raider a bit more survivability

use the rapid launch bay and a lambda for a objective chasing ship perhaps Imo the wording makes it clear the squadron doesn't activate. it says for each squadron you would activate you may INSTEAD .... I don't see how an argument can be made that it did activate with that wording.

Rapid Launch bay specifies that this IS an activation. It certainly needs an FAQ though to settle things.

Crabbok agreed it needs clarification. the way it reads to me is slide the activation bar, but do this instead of activating. would have been much simpler if they just said activate as if the fighter was at the ships location. I hardly see using activate abilities as game breaking, nor allowing a full activation as game breaking.

flechette torpedoes I don't really understand how that works. if the squadron was already activated and has moved or attacked then it wouldn't work right?

Right. The advantage here is high if you are 1st player, so you have the chance to attack and toggle their activation slider before they can even have a chance.
