Hi, yes, I use Tombow mono zero. I don't sharpen the eraser. I just use it as is and it will naturally form some edges. Then after erasing, I clean up the white lines and make it thinner with my sharp pencil.

Q- Can we mix graphite and charcoal in drawing? Q- Do those willow charcoal stick to paper like graphite? Q- What pencil is that you use to super darken the hair?
@armadaliuart2 ай бұрын
1. Of course we can mix them together. Use charcoal first then graphite, charcoal is difficult to apply on top of graphite though. 2. Not really, that's why they're very easy to erase and best for the initial drawing stage. But don't worry upon finishing the drawing just spray with fixative and they won't smudge anymore. 3. 8B Staedler pencil

Thank you for this wonderful video and for your efforts. I have a question. I have been drawing for a long time, but the correct measurements are still a horror for me. If I want to get the correct measurements, I go to the method of the squares that I want to get rid of, and draw in free form, and draw correct free outline without squares and with the correct measurements. I ask you for your help. With this request for the easiest way to draw correct measurements for a portrait, thank you
@armadaliuart Жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you so much gor the question, actually I'm going to talk about drawing with reference photo and how to get it right in my next video (which might take me about 1-2 weeks). So if check again later for the video. But if you need answer now, then in my opinion there's nothing wrong with gridding / tracing. But if you want to learn how to draw free hand, you will need ”efforts” and that definitely won't be as easy as gridding / tracing. But there are some tricks to measure more accurately, like pencil & thumb and finding alignments between two things, which I will cover in my next video. 😀😀
@jafarkadory8288 Жыл бұрын
@@armadaliuart Thank you for the answer, and I will be eagerly waiting for the next video. As for the square method, it is very tiring and I want to get rid of anything in order to draw freely. Thank you

Graphite. 1) I use Staedler Mars Black, they're the least shinny compared to other brands. 2) To use rougher paper. 3) To use many layers when shading the dark areas. Hope it helps! 🥂
