Literally just sprayed some on my hand. It has an overwhelming fruity smell in the opening. After 15 minutes I started smelling the Aventus smell. Then after 30 minutes the projection was way more noticeable and the smell was incredible. Lasts hours!

Another nice review Hunter, really liking your reactions. They are a good balance between reacting and describing/reviewing (not just saying wow smells so good but also not just being dry and listing notes like a robot reading fragrantica). I got this about two weeks ago and I was so happy when I smelled that potent smokey birch and relatively smooth opening. Armaf is back imo, they knocked it out of the park with this EDP, Milestone and Sillage, back to back W's.

I've just discovered this video... I've just finished my original CDNIM from 2015 and have now opened both my limited edition version (edp) as well of my edt backup bottle from 2018 (black sprayer). I have to say that I am not as impressed with both them as I do not get the same performance as I did with my original... That could be due to nose blindness, but I doubt it. The strong smokiness seems to be gone from both as well as the longevity... I used to still get good wafts from my original even 10hrs later but these newer ones seem to be gone in no time... I used to be a bit skeptical when I previously saw vids talking about reformulation but now I believe that there is something to it. CDNIM was definitely one of my fave frags in my collection previously I'm not sure about that now. I am, however, thinking of getting the edp version or the Parfum version but just saw a video stating that on the Parfum version there is no smokiness at all. That was disappointing to hear that so looks like I will be going for the edp. What do you think of the different versions?

Regular EDP is fruitier. Pure parfum is more balanced. But if you crave smokiness, EDT all the way. The lacking of performance you experienced could be a lacking of maceration. When you unbox it. Pump it untill it sprays, and let it sit for a week or month. Feel the difference

@@osamabinladen824 I absolutely love it! I like it more than the EDT. Its smoother in the opening, though I personally like the "roughness" in the opening of the EDT. It performs INSANELY well, like 18+ hours off my skin, and several days on clothing, even after a wash. Its an absolute room filler projection wise. It's one of my favorite fragrances in my collection. I have over 100 bottles if that says anything lol I don't really care about compliments normally, but the limited edition is one of my most complimented fragrances. Needless to say, I couldn't recommend it more than I do now, especially for the price/quality/performance/bottle size ratio. It's almost hard to beat!!

Hey, quick question. have you ever experienced any of your citrus fragrances turning sour or going after owning them. I've heard citrus fragrances go bad in the long run easily. Have you owned any citrus fragrances for more than 5 years

Does it smell very chemically at all and does it perform as good as the original? Can somebody tell me bc I really want to get this but I don't want to waste my money

It does not have the chemically smell the original has. The original projects slightly more but the longevity is better with the EDP and is much smoother and better blended together! If you like the smokiness of the original the EDP is little less smoky.

@@Chris00088 it is perfect trust me i bought it 6 months after i bought the edt and the dry down is way better than the edt and last longer as well:) but i do love the edt for the fact is it smokier than the limited edition parfum which is fruitier..... somehow i receive more compliments when i am wearing the limited edition parfum
