I've had Craze since it first came out and as with other ARMAF frags I got great performance. I didn't realize it smelled like Pegasus when I purchased it but I did like the vanilla/ almond accords from the get go. I think it's a steal for the price.

A lot of people complain about the openings of different scents, but that's not something that really bothers me because let's be honest how long does the opening last you're really looking for what it's going to smell like in the dry down stage.

The cap / decorative shoulders broke on mine too. Due to spilling in shipping, I transferred mine to a MUCH nicer decant sprayer and played around with it enough to tell you how to fix the decorative parts easily. That black ring is supposed to hold the shoulders on the bottle and can be removed. Pull off the black ring. Clean any oils from it. Apply a little crazy (ha) glue and snap it in to the shoulders. Now you can snap the shoulders back on the bottle and it will open as it should. I did all of that without the glue and it worked before destroying the sprayer to transfer the juice, but I'm sure it would fail again in short order without glue.

I tried this out yesterday about 4:30 pm. I thought it was decent. I sprayed one good blast on my forearm. Projects very well. Longevity is awesome. 12 hours and still picking it up. This one grew on me as I wore it. it didn't change much but as it mellowed it got even better. Definitely full bottle worthy. Great review!

Armaf perfumes have very strong opening and in dry down, you can still smell it to the point that it chokes the persons around you.

Pegasus its actually underrated, I own more than two hundred bottles and Pegasus is my most complimented fragrance, even better than Aventus. I'm sorta like you I don't care for armaf but I will check this one for sure.

Just bought a bottle of Armaf Craze. Tested 11 samples from PDM. Loved herod, godolphin and pegasus the most. Bought a bottle of Herod, already own tuscan leather so didn’t need godolphin and thought pegasus was nice but not worth €200. So instead of that i bought Armaf Craze.

I love Pegasus, but wasn't a fan of Craze. I also get a strong blast of alcohol/almond in the opening with some kind of metallic vibe. Greek Horse by Alexandria Fragrance is much closer and smells fantastic. Little more expensive but still cheaper than PDM.

I blind bought a bottle of Craze a year or so ago just out of curiosity (because the closest stores that carry PdM's are really far away from me). My bottle smelled horrible. I travelled out of town this week and was finally able to smell a legit bottle of Pegasus in a store. The comparison isn't even close. I'm glad to find out that Pegasus doesn't smell like a nasty mess as my Craze does. The Craze bottle is now going in the trash.

Hi, I just learned about the new Armaf Craze Noir, Craze Fraiche and Craze Bleu. Have you tried them? The published notes are exactly the same as in "normal" Craze. Either I got the wrong notes from Sterling Perfumes, or their Internet manager was drunk. A couple of ebay sellers do list other notes. According to those notes, Fraiche and Bleu are possibly clones of Versace Fraiche and Versace por Homme. I don't have a clue on Craze Noir. If you tried any of those 3 "new Craze", please share your thoughts... Regards, Carlos

I blind bought this and didn't care for it. Smells like a high proof amaretto with some cinnamon. my favs by armaf so far are italiano nero and club de nuit intense (which i also own a smoky batch of aventus) and both smell almost identical after dry down.

They literally have the same notes except Craze has some smoky sage in it. I don't know how any other line gets more cred than Armaf when they literally copied PDM Pegasus DNA to a T. I'm guessing it's just not a high enough concentration or the oils are better quality at PDM but I'm shocked how it doesn't smell 99% like it with the same oils

whats weird i bought club nuit intense and i thought the opening was like a lemon pine and then turned into aventus after 30 hour. but i came back to it a year later and the opening smells like a gnc multi vitamin. not sure what happened but it turned or something.

Thank you for showing the batch information clearly, although I don't know why you reviewers don't announce the batch codes/dates in every review, since it's such an important part of the review (maybe the most important part), especially for those who may use it for reference 5 years from now when a fragrance could have already been reformulated. I have the same batch date as your bottle (June, 2015 and code 183326) and I just picked it up. I have a feeling that Sterling Parfums is not cooking up this juice that often. I don't know if it's the lighting in your video, but the base of your nozzle @1:18 is black in the video while mine appears to be silver or the same color as the nozzle.

I can't stand the smell of craze. It gives me a headache. In my experience Craze was too powerful and it never really calmed down. If the scent cooled down a couple notches I might have enjoyed it. It's insane crazy.

Personally I think it can be worn in spring, you'd probably want to go lighter on the sprays though because it does still project and last.

Sure can. I can tell you it's sweeter off the top than GIT and more similar in the dry down, my wife actually prefers Tres Nuit to GIT (I prefer GIT myself).

I tried Armaf club de nuit intense as it was hyped as a clone of aventus and also tried tres nuit and other fragrances from armaf. Firstly, performance is very poor and i haven't got a single compliment from these fragrances. But, the most compliment getter for me till now is chrome legend. also, I stay in India, so mostly summer fragrances are more suitable

No, it's really just a straight up copy of Pegasus. L'homme Ideal is sweeter and doesn't have the vanilla/lavender feel that Craze/Pegasus give off.

My Craze order just arrived. My initial impression, 2 minutes after spraying is it kinda reminded me of a better and less overwhelming opening of Insurrection Iron Man, which I used to own and gave to a friend. I never like my Insurrection IM at all. By the middle part, I also get a similar vibe of Boss Bottled Intense Eau de Toilette. I will give Craze some full wearings. I haven't smelled Pegasus yet.

I kinda disagree with you bro. I own Aventus and Armaf CDNI Man. Awfully close. CDNI woman is almost like Noir de Noir. They are great money savers.

For me CDNIM does not have a good opening, it's a sharp, synthetic lemon note that isn't anywhere in Aventus. Admittedly the dry down is better, but CDNIM is not as close to Aventus as Crave is to Pegasus. They are money savers, no doubt, but I would never choose to wear CDNIM over Aventus personally.
