Simple and efficient. To add, bilirubin is conjugated in the liver with glucuronide (glucuronic acid) to make it more soluble before it is excreted into the bile. Thank you!

Bro you're a life saver. I hate reading and I learn by listening and visualising so this is just the perfect solution. Also I think that heme is first converted to biliverdin then to bilirubin. Not sure but please let me know.
@Shamir15159 жыл бұрын
Sazal Hossain Yeah that's correct. C-c-c-c-clinical correlation: There is actually a rare type of jaundice where i think there is an enzyme deficiency so a person cannot convert biliverdin (green) to bilirubin (yellow). This causes green jaundice!

shall we DONATE blood REGULARLY, if so is it benefit or drawback for our body?
@cheareenmjones61053 жыл бұрын
Hello: I see that the liver is damaged from alcohol 🍺 🍷 and cannot handle the bilirubin. The bilirubin is backed up into the body and that signals the bone marrow to produce less red blood cell. There is less carrier red blood cells so oxygen levels will decline and the body will feel stiffness. Hypoxia happens and the kidneys start to ask the bone marrow what’s wrong. I see a bilirubin issue in the liver because of alcohol 🍷 drinking. Hypoxia maybe because of bad liver and bad liver because of alcohol and low oxygen levels because of backed up bilirubin in the body. When bilirubin backs up does the bone marrow produce less red blood cells?

cool! thanks! :> love the hand drawn art and the animation you do of it! :D so generating new red blood cells in the bone marrow takes how long? i was curious because if it takes upwards of 48 hours to mature a cell in the bloodstream and it takes ??? long to go from stem-cell to reticulucyte? is this one of the timing reasons behind waiting so long between 2 pint whole blood donations? i know rehydrating the body doesn't take more than a full day. i can easily drink 2 pints of water or even put that on my cereal with milk. i eat a big bowl of cereal! :D plus i know there's other things in my blood, white cells proteins Tcells etc. so is it the mass NUMBERS? of red blood cells needed to replace those donated in those 2 pints that keeps me from donating blood so often?
