I've got both, they're totally different scent profiles, elixir is so much spicier, code is super mellow and cozy, performance wise there is no comparison, elixir projects so much, a really noticeable scent and lasts forever, code is much more laid back, more of a skin scent , it does last a long time on clothes though, I do absolutely love both

So I haven't smelled Elixir but how the hell is this a comparison tbh?? Parfum is just so elegant and formal, oh yeah "sophisticated" just like she says. I didn't think mystery, but I guess that really, really works well to my personality alongside a few other I wear as my main ones, that's just so accurate, introverted mysterious broody guy, not the extroverted party friendly jock bro whatever. I like Blessed Baraka, Man in Black, and Luna Rossa Black for exactly the same type of reason, by exuding the same type of vibe albeit different shades of it, it's just I didn't ever think of Code Parfum also being this category which I think is hilarious. lol I guess maybe she's accurate, Code Parfum is my day job, I guess the other ones are for me out at night, after work, on days off, whereas I see Code Parfum as being for the professional business meeting type of guy, very suited up and very elegant, poised, restrained, I think of the shade of blue, like a blue filter all over everything in olfactory form. It makes me think of putting on your tie and rehearsing in front of a mirror in your hotel room getting ready for some conference or presentation, not getting ready to go to a bar.

Armani code parfum smells amazing. It reminds me of a blue fragrance with mint and powder. I think I go noseblind to it because I can't smell it after a couple hours but when I smell my shirt in the morning it is still there. The more I wear it the more I like it. Just wish I could smell it for the full wear.

She always refers to Armani Code parfum asmente. I own it and have never thought that once It's my favorite. I definitely get kind of more of a vanilla via that isn't like a pure obvious traditional vanilla. Almost like a less sweet, more masculine there's another vanilla scent To me it's a fragrance that smells great, isn't too feminine, and doesn't try to be too masculine. It's just right in that pocket where it's not trying too hard on either end. Women really seem to like it and you'll still feel masculine wearing it

I have a small collection of 6 fragrances. But armani code parfum by far has the best atomizer I've ever seen. I also feel like it can be used like a blue fragrance it's very versatile. It's good for dressing up, but I think it works great for casual use as well.

Revisiting this video after owning both for over a year. Without doubt you can own both of these, neither makes the other redundant. I have worn Code Parfum way more (half a bottle) because it's a much easier wear. I've also used much less of the elixir because it is so powerful you don't need much, I would definitely recommend the smaller bottle! Both are fantastic and I would recommend both but if you're just beginning go for the code Parfum first as you will get much more wearing from it! Armani Code EDP is also another phenomenal option

I'm the type who prefers both perfumes 😄 I love both, when I want a "louder" perfume, I choose Elixir, when I want something more subdued, powdery, tame to wear, then of course Code! Both are genius, masterpieces that I had to have in my collection! And yes, I don't agree that Code performs poorly, it's just not the kind of perfume that screams for attention like Elixir 🤪😅

@@ramirofadezz Longevity is not something I typically focus on when the fragrance/scent itself is top tier but with this one generally go with 6 sprays for an 8 hour period. But with this one, I enjoy it so much that I wear it day and night so I go through it pretty quick can go 10-15 days before wanting to switch to something else.

New Parfum is absolutely GORGEOUS. I'm sampling lots of fragrances at the moment and some of the big name parfums/elixirs are absolutely disgusting: Tom Ford Noir Extreme (lipstick+cigarettes, very oppressive and even caused me to have a rash), Boss Bottled Elixir (YUCK! burning pine cones and burnt wood with something that sticks in your throat NOT pleasant), and today I've tried Dior Homme Parfum (lipstick smell like an old lady handbag, nowhere near as bad as the Tom Ford, much smoother, almost likeable in places). But for me, I spray Armani Code Parfum on the other arm and it's just miles better than all of those. It has the freshness of the EDT and is more complex and longer lasting than the EDP. It's actually so good I think it's my favorite new scent and makes the others in the line redundant in my opinion. It's also very masculine and my wife loves it, the others are basically old lady, lipstick handbag smells. 10/10

Wow it's like comparing 🍎 to 🍊 Elixir will blow Armani away when it comes down to Projection and Longevity. They both are overpriced but you will get more for your buck with Armani price to size Wise. But IMO the Armani code EDP that was released last year smells so close to the new Armani Code Parfum I feel it's redundant to own both. But that's my opinion. Now on the flip side The Elixir OMG it's a beast. $195.00 for the 3.4oz at Macy's with a 15% sale you can't go wrong. Opposed to spending $165.00 for a 2 oz when it's not on sale.

These are all quite different to oneanother; Eau extreme is a creamy tonka and mandarin scent but does not last as long as you'd expect from the name. I'd suggest trying Misson wave instead, very similar but far cheaper. Prada carbon is similar to sauvage; very metallic and I'd not suggest buying before you try. Intsead of parfum try eau de parfum (old bottle) a leather powdery fresh scent, with fairly good longevity, far cheaper than the parfum.

What a coincidence, last Friday I ordered Armani Code P, it will arrive in two days. Very little is said about this perfume, which in my opinion is ideal for winter days. The beginning is very fresh, but later it has such a gentle note of sweetness that it's great. Again, everyone has their own taste, as far as I'm concerned, Armani Code is an excellent perfume. btw, I'm a big fan of Dior, but here I tried to get out of the comfort zone a little. Cheers 🍻

At the initial spray sometimes it feels reminiscent but it is overall much different. I will say it’s so complex and dense that that I get a slightly different experience with every use based on weather, my skin and/or activity level. Some days it’s more like Drakkar then others it feels completely different. Also, it’s easy get nasal fatigue, so whenever I spray too much it disappears quickly 😂.

i got a sample of it and longevity and projection wasn't great, lasted about 6 hours then had to put my nose right on my arm to smell it, definitely wouldn't pay full retail for it. although a few scents i have had definitely improved after a few months after first spraying (something to do with maceration)

No, it’s much too divisive and it’s too easy to over-spray and becomes obnoxious. However when it’s used modestly in the right situation it’s comes across very mature and sexy. It is not a romantic cologne and I don’t even consider it for date nights. But hooking up a hotel bar during a work conference - excellent.

No. A lot of women don’t like Sauvage Elixir. Even just 3 sprays and they say it’s way too strong and overbearing. The original Sauvage EDT on the other hand is a panty dropper, but frag heads will say it’s too overhyped and boring.
