I didn't know I needed a tutorial for absolute beginners to understand why I'm never able to transition properly from mount to armbar. The weight shifting is what was missing.

I managed to pull off an arm bar for the first time the other day. It was pretty cool, I wasn't planning on it, but I just happened to be in a perfect position. I saw the opportunity, and took it. It wasn't the best execution ever, but it worked. I did sit down a little too much before swinging my leg over. Luckily my opponent didn't manage to escape before I got it.

this arm bar is good but i like the fast armbars you know like directly to the arm bar so sometimes your opponent dont have a lot of time to react to it

Before you do this. You should take two of your palms and make like a right triangle with your fingers and use it as a "charlie horse "I do not recommend this way! But I agree with all your other videos.

I'm one of your biggest fans but I I disagree with this armbar you are showing. It seems like an arm bar that you want to use when you're grappling or armbarring with like a lady or like a little kid or something like that where as you don't want to hurt them. I think the other way is better!

@@orgANGmo you've never studied KZbin marketing if you think this. You as a consumer would never see your favourite KZbin upload 50 videos and sit there watching them all

@asdfghjkl-jk6mu you're right about the money part, but for the KZbin algorithm to see that people like your videos and pump your stuff out more, they first see the click-through rate vs impressions (technical term for you seeing a video prior to clicking on it) Seeing 50 videos and scrolling past them all will damage that rate Hope that helps

Thank you so much. Great details. Question. I have seen pulling and straightening the other arm before the actual dropping back to do the arm bar. Why would you pull and straighten the other arm?
