I want to see the reviews on those extra breathable and high filtration masks you reviewed that same day. Staying tuned.

would be extra cool if you could comment on the nose wire... i feel like that's a part where companies are cutting corners (along with the earloops)

I purchased these last August, but haven't used them. I subjected one to a liquid test, to see if leaked, and it did well. No water leak for well over 30 minutes (at this writing). Should I toss, or just wear two, or...? I can easily eat the $18.66 I spent. I should have watched your video first, I just now discovered you. Keep up the good work!

I’m starting to wonder about the accuracy of these smell tests.

Thank you for doing these reviews! I don't know if you'd be able to do it at this point, but I'd really like to know what the best N95 (or KN95) mask is for singing. The masks I have tried to use so far don't allow for much range of mouth movement (ideally the mask would allow for the mouth to be open as wide as possible) regardless of breathability (which is obviously important for singing). Minimizing distortion of the voice would be a bonus, but I'm primarily hoping to have a mask I can use for practice and I would simply suck it up and wear a surgical mask for concerts. (Maybe KN95s would work better, but every one I've tried leaks air through the nose bridge.) Love the reviews...keep up the good work!

Our resident singer says he likes Duckbill masks the best for this. Gerson and ACI. They're super breathable, and minimal muffling...especially when compared to other masks. His qualifications are he used to do a cappella music and musical theater...and once made out with Kerry Washington in a musical about frogs...so make of that what you will.

@@ArmbrustUSA Thanks! Ironically, I just bought a bunch of the ACI duckbill masks that just went on sale at Sam's Club...perfect timing! Now, if only they came in concert black 😅

There's a misunderstanding about bad KN95s and good KF94s.There are plenty of good & legit KN95 masks made in China ,way better than KF94s. Actually the best and the worst masks are made in China. Not to mention that there are similar models to the N95 masks with the GB2626 standard.3M,Honeywell,MSA,Lakeland,Drager,Giko,Uvex,Delta Plus,Byd and many more make excellent N95 and similar KN95 models. There are also other reputable Chinese manufacturers like Powecom ,CM and Laianzhi. Obviously,amazon and other markets want to make big profits and get the cheapest and worst fake KN95s. Also,KN95 is the standard,not the shape of the mask.KN95s have cup shape,boat shape,bi fold,vertically fold,duck bill respirators etc. Plenty of variations,while KF94s mainly have the boat shape. The disadvantage is that if you want to take off your KF94 mask and place it again into the package,the exterior chin part will touch the inside of the mask.I don't find this ideal. Aesthetically boat shape masks look nice,but bifold usually are steadier on the face. The disposable Chinese masks that look like surgical masks require PFE>30%,therefore whether we like it or not, most of them typically pass Lloyd's PFE measurements. Only GB19083-2010 surgical respirators require PFE>95% and a fit factor above 100.

Yes, there are some good masks made in China, but not all of them can be found in the U.S.😂

China allows too many fakes to get through. Korea doesn’t really put up with that. That makes a KF94 a better choice for most because there’s much less chance of getting a fake. We got some Powecom and like the fit, but it’s the smell that makes them almost unbearable. Worst Ive smelled. If it’s consistently your after, it’s not really with KN95s. Korea does much better with consistency.

@@koulasworld5495 It's not about the country,it's about the manufacturer.Most of the above brands that i mentioned were making masks before the pandemic.Plenty of N95s are made in China.Most of the 'fake' KN95s bought from Amazon 1-2 years ago.A mask from a reputable manufacturer is a better choice for me than a KF94 ear loop mask.I understand that the US market is having a big trouble with respirators,but for the price of KF94s, i would pick N95s all the way.That's why i buy ffp masks in-store and legit KN95s directly from China,but it's easier to get them in Europe i guess.KF94s are overrated and overpriced imho.Especially if they cost more than N95s.

KN95 is a self regulated standard...meaning NO regulation by any body. KF94 is regulated by the government. BIG DIFFERENCE
@koulasworld54952 жыл бұрын
@@JamesJames-yz2el absolutely! I’ve also never seen a KF94 cost as much and certainly not more than an N95. Because the Korean government regulates the industry so tightly, it’s much easier to trust a KF94. I have N95s and kn95 masks that I like, but I also have lots of KF94s that I like as well. I think KF94s are another great option.

I almost bought some crappy masks from Amazon but thanks to you I didn’t… 🤗🤗🤗 Thanks for all that you do… with just enough comedy to keep our attention but still serious enough that we get all of the information that we need… 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I have to keep my family safe… we’re all vaccinated 💉💉💉 but since 2 of us have high risk health conditions we need face masks that truly add on an extra layer of protection from all of these new variants of Covid… I would really like to try multiple masks but as you know, masks are getting really expensive 🤑🤑🤑 and I can’t afford to buy different types to try. 😷😷😷
