I kind of disagree, because the next generation most likely wouldn't see themselves as HKers, HK shouldn't just be remembered by us, but also our children and theirs.

@@wongwingyuen2962 Absolutely! In fact, We are enjoying a wonderful life here in Canada because my parents made a selfless decision decades ago, which I really appreciate their sacrifice. I have to admit that it wasn't easy when we first got here, but we had hope, hoping things would get better, which it did.
我覺得 contemporary world, multi tasking, globalisation….

Don’t worry. Your kids will remember HK. My kids are 24 years and born in Canada. They have never been in HK. When I took them back in 2018 and they just blend in like home👍👍
No, they are not escapees. Everyone has the liberty to find his dream place and ideal way to live. I lived very much like the local when studying in Britain. I enjoyed strolling along river banks, killing time under the sun, having lunch in parks, going to museum and theatres. life is more carefree and less expensive there. There are many things to do, interesting places to go and nice people there to get acquainted with. I do wish those who have gone to Britain all the best.

Just from this video, you can see how nice it is to live in U.K. 👍 One of the greenest and happiest country in the world. I really love your tattoo, I plan on doing exactly the same design from my two daughters drawing when they were young. 💖😍 Have a happy life in U.K. Maybe I will join you soon. 😎
Just a piece of advice to any new HK immigrants settling in the UK.... try to find a group of HK ppl you can count on for support... not just hanging out (hea).... I find that a lot of HK ppl are quite individualistic... nothing wrong w/ that... but don't expect too much when you get to meet some new friends from HK... a lot of times they just don't really open up.... based on experience, the Koreans are a lot more united... they go to church and do stuff together every weekend!
