I love it, espescially the start with Yang Nightmare. Yang is not my favorite character (mine are Blake and Ruby) but i still like her. She shine the most in volume 5 and her fight with Blake against Adam was so great. I was shocked when they have killed him but Adam was going way too far ! His defeat was not for the bees since it's often bring it up for Adam as"Wasted Potential". His fight was a conclusion of his relationship with Blake.

I firmly believe ppl who think Adam was wasted misunderstand his character. He was NEVER a true leader, not from the first moment we saw him. He was powerful and passionate, which lead the violent members of Sienna's White Fang to look up to him, but that's not what leadership is. A leader is there for his people; Adam has always, from the first time we saw him on screen, been there for himself, be it for sadistically tormenting humanity out of spite (as justified as the spite itself may be...) or sadistically tormenting Blake as a "punishment" for "betraying him". It was obvious at the end of season 5 that he will abandon his people, because he wasn't there for them. Just like it is obvious that if Sienna Khan was there in his place, she would've let herself get taken with them as so not to leave them behind, and have faith in the other members of the White Fang to come and rescue her. Because she, unlike Adam, was a true leader; a hateful, violent, terrorist leader, but a leader through and through. There was no other possible end for Adam Taurus, not rly. I loved him as a villain, but he could never truly lead the White Fang and become the dark renegade boss many edgelords still think he should've been. He only focused on his own goals and was completely driven by rage and spite, and that could lead to no other fate then abandoning his people when leading them stood in the way of his personal goals and falling into complete madness. And it was this madness that lead him to stalk Blake across a continent, and eventually die at her hands, along with Yang's.

It's true, honestly Adam was a good villain, I mean his skills were good when he fight. And his personnality show his manipulation and his abuse toward Blake. Yes ! He was victim of racism but he focus on that. In volume 5, he firmely believe that faunus are superior to humans. Wich means a lot about his character. He was never the misunderstood hero or something like that. In the character short, if he have follow Ghira instead of Sienna maybe things would have been different for him.

@@kilfeurvinosiny6610 Maybe so. I like to think of Adam as a Zuko who had the wrong mentor. Instead of uncle Iroh who would teach him humility, he had Sienna Khan who taught him that violence and murder are always justified means to the end when used against humanity. She believed she could control him, not realizing that his madness grew far beyond anything she could ever control and she tried, it consumed her too.

He is actually much more like Azula, the one who was treated by hero but then cause "accidents". Use fear among the others, make him inside of the head Blake. At the end, he lose everything by the one who decide to never run and fight again for her goal. It's tragic yes but no one can say that, he didn't get the karma for everything he did

Yeah he wasn’t wasting it’s just his character was interesting on the outside but he was just a dickhead boyfriend supremacist to oversimplify and it does make sense why he is the way he is in some aspects but he wasn’t that complex and his story was his relationship with bake and his fall from grace and his biggest act was what he did to Blake and yang and them working together instead of yang protecting Blake is a good way to show growth and at least he went out in a badass fight that was planned by monty before his death and some of it does show so he wasn’t wasted people just got the wrong idea about him

I feel like RWBY deserves a happy ending since the team making it seems like they are mostly interested in letting Salem win and destroy the world for it to be all reset. But I want the series to make a comeback and proof that Salem can be beat and that Yang can show that she won’t let Ruby & Blake be taken from her again. Because unlike Raven, Yang won’t turn her back on those she cares about.

When Yang first got disarmed (as it were), I always thought there would be two possible routes back from it: 1: Mechanical arm, focus on discipline and control. Which is what we got in the show and is pretty good. 2: Aura arm, and focus on channelling anger and rage. Bit of a nuanced difference here, but in my mind I thought it would be cool if she replaced her arm with aura, demon of hatred style. And instead of trying to suppress and control her anger, channel it in such a way that she could guide its power. Essentially evolve her semblance into a sort of zen state of anger where her focus becomes intense as her rage. It would have been more difficult to write, but more powerful and interesting to see (In my opinion anyway).
