So yes, I researched it and believe that the White Sheriff did not want another lynching before due process. By the way, the first was a White prisoner a year earlier. So based on your beliefs, I should go arm myself (Black American Veteran) to ensure businesses stay safe from ignorant rioters. So yes, I stand by what I stated. It is how it began.
