FINALLY a "concealed carrying for runners" video that actually shows someone running while using the product! I've been looking into a lot of different options and this was the most helpful video I've come across - thank you. It doesn't seem like the crossover between distance runners and concealed carriers is very big (yet!) so it doesn't seem like there are many good resources out there. Glad you were able to find something that worked - my primary concerns are also the bouncing and printing, since I run at a fairly quick pace and also live in a very warm climate.

I experienced the same frustration when I was trying to figure it out. Sometimes product reviews would have people running with them, but they’d run away from the camera so you couldn’t actually see what was going on 🤦🏼♀️ I’m glad this one was helpful!

Good video. I agree the Enigma is a welcome solution to the issues you encounter when exercising and carrying. I have struggled with the leg leash. I have large quads and when I squat the clip has a tendency to release and then you find yourself with the leg leash hanging down from under your shorts. I have tried the mule tape which was an improvement but just ordered an Enigmod leash from Rego Concepts. If I can solve the leg leash issue I will be ready to make the Enigma my every day holster.

I have a Olight attached to my 9mm. Would this be a problem for this holster? Do they have an Enigma holster that will fit my gun with the Olight? The holster that I have now is perfect, and it even has a pouch to carry a magazine. The problem is that I don't like the material. It allows too much perspiration inside the holster. Plus, even though I haven't tried using it while I run (since I run inside on my treadmill), but I am pretty sure that if I did, that thing would be flopping around while getting sweat on my gun. So, I am looking for the best of both worlds. I want something like what you have but will hold it will my Olight AND carry an extra magazine. Of course, the extra magazine pouch on the holster is not a must. I use an old tactical, police light carrying case to carry another magazine. It's A LOT more comfortable than the regular magazine holders that they sell. They have those things are way up too high when you put them on your belt, and the magazine digs into 'my' side, because it's too high. This police light carrying case fixes this for me, because the top of the magazine drop to belt level. Anyway,.... That was my adventure...What do you think about the VNSH holster, 'today'? I have heard that they fixed many of the issues that people were complaining about. At least, that's what THEY are saying.

Not trying to be contentious, just curious. Isn't this a bit unnecessary? If you're working out, lifting weights, within a gym---is a firearm really needed? I can understand if somebody is running outside, solitary. The last thing I need to worry about is a firearm while I'm exercising. Maybe it's personal preference because I don't like having my gym locker key in my pocket when I'm working out.
@tessahbooth2 жыл бұрын
It's less about while one is working out, and more about the transition from being inside a gym into a parking lot. Personally I wouldn't feel conformable leaving my gun in a gym locker, so having it on my person is the way to go. Although I can absolutely imagine the potential necessity for a firearm even within a gym setting.

Hi. Thanks for the content. Before I start, please understand that there is no judgement from my side whatsoever. I am assuming you live in America somewhere and if I compare your generalized live conditions and quality of life in your country VS my side of the world which is South Africa we are statistically and in real life situations a crime hotspot, something the World doesn't get told or mentioned in the media because of the whole history of the Country and and and. But even with that I and my family don't need or feel the need to own or carry guns, we live a fairly comfortable life eventho our next generation is pretty much going to need to look for greener pastures somewhere else. I'm all for guns and fully understand guns don't kill, people kill people. So in this long winded comment / question. Why do you feel the need to carry a gun in such a "safe" country? Again this is just a honest question that I don't intend to have any negative meaning in it.

Hey! Thanks for your comment. I actually just addressed this question in todays upload. You can skip to the last time card in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6K5pZJnlq9potk It’s not about whether I live in a safe area or not, it’s more about the fact that there are bad actors everywhere, and people are victimized everyday. If, in the off chance I am selected for attack, I want to be as prepared as I can be in order to prevent someone from taking my life from me.

@@tessahbooth thanks for the reply. I just watched your video 5min after I posted. As I mentioned, no judgement at all from my side, just wanted your take on why you carry. Sad fact is that in my country, if I shoot a criminal that is in my house attacking me or my family I will be in more trouble then the perpetrators. I will be arrested and will need to without a shadow of adoubt state my case that our lives where is really and imminent threat.

@@angelln25 I don't know where you are, or what the laws are in your country, but it is not uncommon for self defenders to be arrested in the US after a self defense encounter and will also have to prove that they had reason to believe that they were in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm.

Love the product but I refuse to assemble it. The company should do this and for this reason, I will not buy it
@tessahbooth Жыл бұрын
An assembled version is available. They can’t have an assembled version for every gun though, so there are open source versions of the enigma available with the option to purchase compatible holsters elsewhere.

Is the enigma geared towards women? Or do men use it too? What does your husband use? (Assuming he’s into working out like you are).

Enigma is for men and women. Mine gives me the best concealment of any holster set up. It also will allow me to conceal in a suit.

The enigma is very much a gender neutral carry system. My husband also uses an enigma. He's currently carrying a comped Glock 19, with a Holoson 509t, in a PHLster Pro Series holster mounted to the standard enigma.

Who lifts weights while carrying a gun? Running I get.

Literally showed 3 minutes of running b-roll and precisely 0 minutes of the actual product being discussed...

I have other videos dedicated to the actual product walk through, and a pretty detailed section of my website describing it further: www.armedandstyled.net/resources/phlster-enigma For this video I felt it was more useful to focus on showing how it worked in this specific context. As of right now I'm not aware of any other videos that show someone actually running with their Enigma.

@@tessahbooth I hear ya, just odd is all. There was nothing included to actually demonstrate the functionality of the enigma is all I mean. Obv the holster holds things, but could you draw effectively still? Did your garment interfere with master grip? Was the holster itself remaining consistent in placement/position. Etc.

@@minman2546 Yep, totally get how those things are super important! They just weren't the focus of this video :)

Where can I find the Enigma holster? Wish you had a link for that. I didn't find it in your Amazon store

You’ll find it on PHLsters website: www.phlsterholsters.com
