If you are going to compare to him to the likes of Einaudi, yes. But next to a composer like Beethoven or Chopin his music is uninteresting, primitive and profound. If you look at his scores, he doesn’t even know how to harmonize properly in the bass line other than to write everything root position. Certainly Not the mark of a great or serious composer who harmonizes using triads and principles of western music theory!

@@paulhenner8914 and actually I am arguing from a purely objective standpoint. You can do the analysis from the score and you will see what I mean. His music shows no evidence or comprehension of even elementary counterpoint or the basic rules of part writing, such as the avoidance of parallel octaves, fifths etc. There is nothing wrong with breaking these rules but when you never use the rules your music and write everything in toot position, you can’t expect your bass lines and voice leading in general to sound effective.

This piece, Composer, instrumentist are all Persian; he named it Armenian as a name. In Iran, Armenians are very much high esteem and we love them. Name is a contribution to them I believe. He has Isfahan and ... too, which doesn't qmean he's Isfahani per se.q

The tremolo instead of a good meliduc line? Thus us the problem with Iranian piano music. It trues to emulate the santoor( traditional Iranuan instrument)
