One million thanks to you ❤ All of a sudden I started to understand - now I can go on knitting with one less frustration 🥰

How can someone dislike this video, i really don't understand. Such a clear visual demonstration, especially for begginer knitters who have to learn alone like me, usually this part in patterns is the most confusing, if one does not have experience, it's almost impossible to understand without seeing it. Personally, i think, this is probably the best knitting video tutorial seen by now! Thank you so much for posting it!

It be good for written instructions on screen same time as well.

Some people are not visual learners and need to hear the instructions. This video completely ignore a huge segment of the population.
@5batgirl42 жыл бұрын
The reason it gets negative reviews is that many of us NEED the verbal explanation along with the visual. This is only a partial demonstration - and as a beginning knitter, I find it bewildering to watch without a concurrent explanation.

4:13 I appreciate your simple demonstration without all the chatter. I’m making my first bottom-up cardigan and needed to see how the armhole decreases look the best. Thanks!

Nice music, but would prefer English instructions where the knitter explains what she is doing, especially since I knit with the yarn in my right hand.

This great, however you do not show how to decrease 1 st each end

Thank you for your video. I needed to figure out better looking decreases than the example I had of a old knitted item given to me that I reversed-engineered.

I came here hoping to learn how to knit armholes.. But with absolutely no talking and no explaining the stitches you make and what you do, I understood nothing.
@moonpluto6732 Жыл бұрын
Okay, so basically. The stitches you need to kmow are the knit stitch and purl stitch. Alternating each stitch like one row is knit, and the next row is purl makes the stockinette stitch pattern. Know that we know that those are the stitches, let's look at the video. The first row is a knit row, you cast off, or bind off the first 5 stitches, which is picking up 2 at the beginning, the pulling the first one over the second one to kind of drop it off the needle. You repeat this process, having 2 on your right(or left needle if your left handed) and dropping the first one off the needle for a total of 5 stitches then continuing with the the knit stitch until the end of the row. Then you turn your work, which will now be the purl row. Same process, you bind off 5 stitches the same way we did for the knit row. Then continue with your row. Turn your work. Then you bind of 3 stitches with your knit row. Continue on as normal. Turn work. Bind off 3 purl stitches. Continue with your row. Turn. Bind off 2 knit stitches, Continue with row. Turn. Bind off 2 purl stitches, Continue with row. Turn. Etc. Etc. You can do this with more stitches as well, say for example, you start off with 7 bind off stitches. Then 5, 3 etc. This makes for a smoother edge for the arm hole. Hope that helps❤

Beautifully explained! and no words! 👍 I would love to learn from you how to make the set in sleeve bottom up using this same method of 5,3,2 and 1 bind of in the sleeve.,.... so, from there what do we do to make, or get to the sleeve cap portion? (and top down sleeve too if it's not too much trouble). Thank You. 🌹

Nice music but NO explaining of stitches! Plus I knit the other way not with finger. Maybe the instructions in writing appear on screen while knitting to appear as well would be good.

Your armholes look beautiful but as a beginner I find this video hard to follow without explanation, as there is no verbal instruction or description of the type of stitches you’re doing. Also you’re going quite fast so it’s hard to know what’s going on visually - thank you for sharing however.

Interesting attempt at demonstration without explanation - but I cannot follow it with the visual. Perhaps next time you could make the words optional or film it both ways. Also, your video is out of focus at times.
