This was probably the best live trance show ever, in the history of such shows. So many live singers, music artists playing live, dancers, and acrobats. Has there ever been another show like this? Tiesto back in the day never got close even if his shows were the best for the times, and Armin peaked for this show. Balance later was still good but didn't have the live musicians, or amount dancers/acrobats that this show had. Honestly I think this was the best ever. I hope we get something like this again, but I'm not sure if we will.

I'm not saying he's the best, but as far as any one producer that covers such a diverse range of the trance genre, that is well known by all and generally loyal to trance (I'll forgive him a little for the prog house sound of Embrace >_>), he nails it. Gods are meant to be well known by all correct? There's no other producer who has remained dedicated to promoting trance than Armin. Only other honourable mentions would be Ferry Corsten and Aly & Fila that have the amount of experience AVB has and have stayed true to the genre.

Years later and I still can’t get enough of this. I have a drug problem and it pretty much makes me incapable of feeling almost any emotion, like ever. But somehow, music like this, brings me serious joy and happiness and it makes me feel like I can get through this and it will all be better. I was born into the wrong country. Almost no one hear listens to Trance, and I just want friends who will sit and listen to this stuff with me and enjoy it. I need help getting to the Netherlands to live out the rest of my days.

I will never forget the impact that this tour had on me. I was 15 years old in 2013 when my brother and I got a job offer from our uncle. We didn’t know much about what we, two young men, were getting ourselves into. Some DJ was coming to Helsinki to perform, and we were really excited. Our job was essentially to prepare the concert venue: we built fences, erected screens behind the stage, ran cables, placed cable trays, hung decorations, and I learned to drive a forklift during that week which was crazy, something I had never done before. I don’t at least remember breaking anything hehe. We were clearly too young to work with the tour's older crew members, but I think we did well. When the showtime finally came I eagerly awaited it, as the venue was partly a result of our own handiwork and everything was top-notch. I wanted to see why dozens of large smiling balloons had been raised to the ceiling, and what that big ball above the stage was. My brother and I stood behind the audience when the concert began so we could see absolutely everything. From the very first moment I was overwhelmed by this tremendous feeling, a unique surge of energy I had never felt before. I just stared, mouth agape, at how beautiful harmonies and a steady trance-like beat created an incredible feeling throughout my body. I was in trance... I followed the entire concert, mesmerized. I laughed when 'Ping Pong' started and balls rained down on the audience, and I was amazed when a female singer with the voice of an angel emerged from the large moon-like ball. I guess I also got my first actual kiss at that concert when a woman came up to my brother and me and asked who she should kiss (ayo); of course, my big brother quickly pointed at me... I will never forget that night, and still every time the violin melody of 'Intense' starts playing, I get chills. Now, 10 years later, Armin Van Buuren and Trance are still my escape from reality. According to Spotify Wrapped, I belong to the world's top 0.5% of people who listened to Armin the most.. hehe, I have to brag a little. That’s the impact this tour had on me. Thank you Armin for your music, and for some reason, I feel great love for every trance brother and sister out here ❤️ Edit: i apparently remembered wrong, after watching this show it appears that it’s Armin himself who comes out of that moon balloon 😂. It might’ve been different in Helsinki show but well, who cares..

This show, this... this is what turned me into electrónic music and trance music. This show in Argentina in 2014. Amin Only Intense was the best show I've ever been to, even better than Ultra Europe and Defqon1! I've never seen a DJ put so much effort into a performance. Thanks for bringing A State of Trance to Vancouver, please add a Vancouver date to your Embrace tour!

I've just started listening and getting into Trance/House/Progressive about a month ago and I stumbled into this guy last night. This is fcukin' genius. Like the guy is on a whole other level! A heard a saying about this genre of music that went; "You don't walk into the house of Trance. Trance invites you in when it feels you're ready and then seduces you and it never let's you leave." Now I know exactly what it meant!! 😂😂😂

Unfortunately, Trance died couple years ago, all great trance musics are 5 years old or older. 🥲

Armin has been my go-to for trance and progressive since the early 2000s As a new fan look up the earliest episodes of a state of trance they are all available and just listen. He's been the authority for two decades. Him and David Guetta, highlighting the best of the old and the new along with their own productions. It's worth the literal thousands of hours to catch up and see how the genre has grown and changed over the years.

I’ve been to the show in Bucharest, his energy was amazing! What a show, what a DJ set and what an experience. Even if you’re not a trance music fan, I would still recommend going to one of his Armin Only shows while we still have him.
