@Rik Wolters man, what's the point of your comment anyway, if we already discussed the thing? Btw I always said, I love Armin (even though you and your friend wanted me to tell, that I don't), but I am a bit disappointed, how pop-mainstream EDM his music became on Balance. He is still one of the biggests for me, and yes, trance wouldn't be the same without him, no doubts. However, I personally think that he was at his prime from Imagine to Intense. You can explain everything, but what really matters is the feelings you get when you listen to music. So honestly, I don't really care what Balance really is, because the point of my comment was originally, that I didn't hear anything from Armin in the last couple of years, which could give the same euphoria, or sadness, that these albums did, except maybe I need you and Sunny days (the originals, not the club mixes, which are not trance either, but I still love them).

@Rik Wolters it's not a genre obviously, I never said it was. It's a description. Any electronic genre can be more of underground, or more of mainstream. EDM in my, and lots of other people's viewpoint is a generic description for a kind of music, independently from a concrete genre.

@Rik Wolters I don't know a lot about Armin, and even if you might actually be right, I'm gonna go with FF here, simply based on the fact that music is made to be felt, and not categorised. You cannot impose ‘feelings’ on someone. I'm a huge deadmau5 fan, and I don't know if you know about his works, but just because Polaris doesn't give me the same feelings as Strobe though they're from the same genre, it doesn't make me an idiot, it just makes you, look like one for judging people on the basis of what they SHOULD feel, and not knowing the meaning of the word ‘opinions’.
