I don't get why people keep complaining that he's not playing pure trance, that he's playing mainstream music ... ASOT is taking place today at Ultra, what was he supposed to do, play twice the same set in two day ? It seems reasonable that he would do a more mainstream set for the mainstage and keep the trance for ASOT. At least his set has some trance vibe and you can tell that he put some work into it (Can't say the same for Tiesto). AND if you want trance why don't you listen to Gaia ? Playing as Gaia allows him to keep playing trance while exploring other musicals genre as Armin.

I think the whole issue here is what you just said, "if you want trance listen to Gaia". It's like saying , if you want trance don't listen to Armin Van Buuren which is what the complaining is about given Armin Van Buurens career has been about Trance. Also he could easily play a set of Trance on Sat and a completely different set of Trance Sunday. Saying he couldn't is saying he only has 1 hour with of Trance music in his library.

You know one of the things I absolutely love about Armin van Buuren is that I can see the passion in his face every single time he performs. Но я живу в России и на острове Сахалин, конечно у нас далеко не Москва и Майями и почему то грустно уверен что Armin ни когда к нам не приедет.Звезда такой величины и на острове о котором может совсем и не слышал. I also want armin to be the only best dj in the industry but Hardwell mixes better he makes better mashups, im huge fan of trance djs like armin, paul van dyk, atb, but i never heard anything like hardwell mashups 4 songs into one. For the Mainstage, where most of the Sets include Progressive and Electro House, this Set was perfect, a really nice Mixture of Trance and "Bigroom" House. He presented his "old" Trance Style at the ASOT Stage whpre the oeople come to hear Trance, and I mean really Trance, not this "Trance" from his Mainstage Set here. So please, shut up and stop hating, because this was the best for the Mainstage crowd, where most of the people want bigroom drops (look at the crowds reaction)

I got to say I couldn't really get into it in the beginning, I think it's a waste all those beautiful melodies are going to waste by adding those generic bigroom drops. But from about halfway through untill the end the set is absolutely fantastic. Also, I like how that Game of Thrones remix is made, kind of reminds me of the way the old Pirates of the Carribean remix from Tiesto was done.

the last 3 minutes was epic. The bigroom generic commercial crap is just Armin Van Buuren's regular style now, if you want something trancier you go to Rising Star and Gaia definitely not Armin Van Buuren.

MuzzaFuzza because the people who goes to the ultra mainstage doesnt even know what's trance neither a real rave. armin isnt playing trance anymore. psytrance its the only legacy of the pure trance
