The Pershore & District Branch of the Royal British Legion have held a service at the Cross of Sacrifice in Pershore Cemetery for many decades now each Armistice Day.
Here there are 72 Commonwealth War Graves with over half being Canadian airmen who died in the area during the Second World War. Each year a representative from the RCAF is invited to attend and lay a wreath.
There are also some casualties from the First World War too buried in the cemetery.
Prayers were offered by Canon Claire Lording, Vicar of Pershore as many Veterans fell silent to pay their respects to the Fallen.
