AC6 feels like it lost most of it's charm, the songs are good, very good, but it doesn't have the same feeling. Alltho Rusted Pride is a BOP

This song is unironically getting me into Armored Core, and is making me wish for an Armored Core anime or at the very least an anime centered around mercenaries who commit heinous war crimes and become the top fighters in the world not due to any grand ambition but because they gotta make rent and they're very good at their jobs.

@@zip9916 OK! Trying this again. The first question: The towers. The environments near or inside the towers. The UNACs was over as soon as it started. OK . . . it took 3 or 4 missions out of like 50~75. The factions have almost no presence. Maybe they did matter, but all I remember is the excessive chatter. The second question: Before she defected, she chatters too much. She (and Fat Man) yammer on and on about Maggie's backstory and later on how she envies your mad skills. I'd say more about her chatter if I remembered more. Then enter Blue Magnolia. Ambushes you after fighting two very tough nutjobs and gets her ass promptly handed to her. Yes I'm aware the story plays you up to be ultra mega good, but THIS was pretty much when I officially hated her. Turns out the black squad is just like that white squad in ACV's second story. Great now she's a nutjob and they're yammering on about her backstory AGAIN at her end. The final revelation of her background just makes her even worse. How long ago did Fat Man picked her up?She was loony before this all started and had a relapse. Her only sense of agency is to make a suicidal dive to anyone who can beat her. Everything about her can be summed up to these two things: Downright senseless and not cool.

@@zip9916 I get they were trying to make it more personal, more than just a job. There's better ways to go about this than to make it all subject us to the only story that wasn't half-baked, namely character drama while making it straight up obnoxious. The setting didn't matter. It's OK if in the end the factions don't matter, but not most of time. Since somebody is paying you to fight somebody. Then there's the suicide squad. It's nice that they didn't tell all of the story over the radio like in ACV (even though it makes sense in context and it was all one big journey and a ultra botched job), but the chatter got worse in ACVD. The bosses except for Blue were cool. The last one was the coolest and best, even though now we're suddenly here hearing the mystery man ramble on about how mankind are assholes again. Could have made a whole ordeal over getting to his case than jumping to that immediately after melting Blue and the weird robot from ACV. Sorry this is a long post again. :C
