that goofy sounding voice you were talking about is the one that ultimately represents the emotion of the game.. this way, it really defines the difference of this game from other mech franchise. i can't explain much in words but its really philosophical to me atleast.

It was the first thing that turned me off from AC3 for a long time... Those vocals "didn't belong in a mech' game." I had played too much Mechwarrior those days and I was used to hard rock that would melt your ears and weapons that would blow your mech' into bits if your reactor didn't do the job well enough... (Not that ACs didn't ahve them, but ACs didn't have much Battle tech like lasers) I didn't realize the Japanese origins of AC, and I had lost what made the game special, compared to its competitors. After a while, I swallowed my judgment and bought the game, and I've been working my way through the AC3 games after it while enjoying every moment (or almost). However, for the song, I didn't much care for the vocals & singing, but it was simply apart of the experience... Hey, mercs like Ravens should be able to go to operas and learn about philosophical things... And when they're done, mount their ACs and go blow up an oil depo...

@@bombadbombad1584 i just relistened to the soundtrack, overall i quite like it, still not fond of those female vocals in those 1-2 tracks. that and the (lack of) explosions and some gun sounds are just a straight downgrade in this game compared to AC2
