I'm not ashamed to say this trailer brought a tear to my eye. For me, Fromsoft has created an atmosphere and tone which draws me in even with how little has been revealed. In particular, when the AC rams it's chaingun into the huge MT, the camera angle changes to the face of the AC and you can see the AC lean in defiantly, like we see in other forms of media when two characters come face to face. This strikes me as a very human behavior, one which is well communicated, and like I said it makes me unexpectedly emotional.

It's unbelievable to me that after all these years of putting out absolute fucking banger game trailers (to say nothing of how amazing those games always are), Fromsoft still finds a way to outdo themselves every time. This has to be one of their best trailers ever.

After I saw this trailer Id watch awhole movie like this.

Well at the end 617 had no weapons left. he had what I think was a blade on his left arm that got blown off, some cannon on his back which was ripped off when the tank jumped at him, and the chaingun that he ruined. Only thing left was what looks like assault armor (that sparkly self destruct thing at the end) which made me wonder. Assault armor was in AC4 and it didn't destroy your AC but the version of ACs in that game where AC NEXTs which were far more powerful so I'm wondering now if assault armor hurts you, or whatever it is. Honestly it can't truly be assault armor because these things lack what made assault armor work but it's mimicking the effect.
