ACfA illustrates that they (corporations) maybe allied with one another but at the end of the day they are still corporations of old very cut throat especially once you figured out who owns what with the destruction of Rayleonard and AkvaVit which resulted in BFF restructuring as they didnt came out of the economic war (central conflict of 4);unscathed in fA at the end of 4 Omer science took in all of the scattered engineers who would want to work for them, the others went to form Torus while the lesser half went to the new merged interior union. which meant the central factions with in the league of corporations are BFF, GA America, BFF and Interior Union and Omer Science. there are lesser groups here like Algebra. fun fact during the events of 4 Rosenthal was formerly the owner of Omer Science but somehow after 4 Iner after recruiting Rayleonard and AkvaVit engineers somehow got the major share of their former owners becoming the "head company" of the Rosenthal group of companies. a lot of these info arent in the game as armored core lore states its all in a set of "good books" that accompany the game all in Japanese and I known said 1 part of 2 good books accompanying for answer which means good luck getting some info out of AC6 if you do not import said books from Japan

Also fun fact Miyazaki was gonna return to direct ac6 since he previously directed 4 and for answer eventually it was passed on to sekrio shadows die twice lead designer instead what’s his name

Just shows you that people don't like change ahaha. I find every armored core has its fun quirks. None of em are perfect. But they're fun to explore and play

@leftovernoise Yeah considering how little info we have regarding gameplay I don't get why people are complaining. Will AC6 be influenced by the souls games? Almost certainly it's what they've been making for 10 years. Will it be a souls game? No I very much doubt it'll be a souls game. What I assume AC6 will do is cherry pick aspects from souls that'll mix well with AC

12:47The answer to this question has to do with the protagonist's operator. She was the best pilot (No. 16) under the "Interior Union" in AC4 and is now retired. The player takes on the role of her student as the protagonist. You can choose AC as a practice opponent to fight her when testing your AC. In addition, when the protagonist goes astray and participates in the massacre, she will enter the battle in Hardmode, turning the original 1vs4 into 1vs5 and cleaning you up herself. 20:11Auto-save is not suitable for ACfA, its plot will be divided by the task chosen by the player, and if there is really automatic save, the player will have to wait for the next round if he chooses the wrong one. Man this was such a great video. Very interesting retrospective and info about the game. I was looking for more recent reviews of this title, saw your review and you basically sold me the game. Downloading now to play it on RPCS3 before getting ACVI.

Got 4 answer running at 60fps on my steam deck the other day. I was expecting to run into loads of problems based off everything ive read. But 5 missions and a handful of arena matches and i haven't had a single issie

i personally never got into armored core back in the day but for many years ive been a fan of the souls games since dark souls on ps3 and only recently i decided to go back and play some of fromsofts older titles like kingsfield. im lucky enough to get to play armored core on my psp along with last raven and i just love how hard those games are and seeing the design for white glint made me wanna play this title in particular super badly. i was debating of just getting new cables for my ps3 and getting a legit disc but the prices are kinda... yeah to expensive for me... while yeah with the official hardware i wont have to worry too much about stability but i bet that same hardware cant run the game at 60fps at 1440p and i feel like this game has too be experienced in 60 fps

The game dosent have auto save because past armored core games punished you for failing a mission, not because the devs hated you. You had to save scum just to win.

I mean the hardest AC game last raven literally gave you the option to restart the mission if you didnt like the results, its clearly intending for you to go back and S rank the levels

you are forgetting the next divide with V and VD also Patches' history with armored core GOES WAY WAY back he is first introduced as Patch piloting Parsec in Master of Arena's second disk where challenging fights thats full of easter eggs awaits you as some of the ACs there are staff created ACs and or community ACs thats won tourneys
