ORCA is the best ending because it saves humanity while the others doom humanity to extinction. It may not be a good ending, but it's the best ending in a game that has no good endings.

To get Old King to live should be an achievement. He's purposely there to help juggle attention while you get the kills in, so it's usually his thing to die.

At least in this ending, the corpos thats responsible for the whole irradiated mess finally faces consequences. Its the only ending where this happens. In shura ending, you kill everyone for the lulz

Never understood why people talk about cheese weapons it's all part of the game, even if you wanted to talk about cheesing it really depends on the regulations you use in 1.0 missles are strong(mostly white glints),1.10 missiles nerf, 1.15 is inf energy 1.20, 1.20 is laser blades(speed of mechs are high,1.0 was fast already this was even higher), 1.30(blades nerfed, speed nerfed, AA nerfed), 1.40 continued by nerfing speed further. So basically you could argue that by playing 1.40 the uploader is fighting mechs with AI issues due to the massive speed decreases(along with other balance changes) and using a strong close range spread bazooka(basically a shotgun)/slug gun that might struggle to hit otherwise. The only people i don't respect are those shooting through walls to cheat the fights. Beating this mission is impressive as long as you aint cheating, i mean i've seen this done with sniper cannons, obviously it's a lot less entertaining to watch but still part of the game.

This is legit good skill. I could only manage hard S rank with the rail guns.

It's not skills, it's good equipment. Winning this sort of missions isn't about skills it's about having good DPS and armor in order to go in and gather their attention while staying alive. Luck also is a factor, all those are the reason why Armored Core is dead and should remain dead, along with the Souls series one day, hopefully.

Ok, that's weird, i remember i did this with only blade (Since that's the only way for me to reach S rank) and i have about 16k AP with Old king also lives but still receive A rank? I forgot which regulation i'm in, perhaps it's cause of the regulation. By the way, i never expect that slug gun to be that lethal. I mean spraying about 6k damage isn't a joke. Also, Old king is as tough as ever, he maybe a madman, but he got some skills.
