Considering the plot of the anime the song was taken from... Yeah that's pretty close. It's the eng version of Code Geass' theme which is literally about a prince, exiled from home, thought to be dead awakening his power and waging war against the Empire that scorned him. More or less

Okay, here we go: 621: MC Handler Walter: Mentor/Owner who later gives out the friendship speech before backstabbing you, but not really his fault. Arye: Waifu in the MC's head who calls him stud muffin who is more than the eyes can see and will backstab you if you do something stupid. Rusty: Best Friend/Second waifu(?) Who everyone likes and competes with MC. Will accidentally backstab you because you were both tricked later in the series. Iguazu: Rival/spoiled brat who is so damn petty he'll do something horrendous to himself so he could beat you up. Cinders Carla: First season antagonist/Walter's Old flame who helps you out after the first season as your second mentor. Michigan: Rough around the edges ally who you will like later on the series and is a form of comedic relief with his subordinates. Snail: 3rd season Antagonist snob ball who betrays you because your being hero. Raven: That cool ass character everyone likes more than the main character and helps the MC at rare moments. Also a MC in the side. Allmind: Main Antagonist of the series. Starts of as your trusted ally then betrays you at the end.

Actually, there was a reason for this! It mainly had to do with the HUD making it look really unpolished. I only used cutscenes from gameplay I recorded since they removed the HUD. Though that would've been a really good scene to include ;-;

What’s sad is that there was a Manga for Armored Core that got cancelled because nobody cared for the Pilots, which was the main focus of the Manga, and instead wanted more Armored Core action with minimal humans present. It’s still up on some sites like Mangakakalot I believe, you’re able to read it, but it only has a handful of chapters and ends on a revealing cliffhanger

Ive always wanted a a gundam game that played like armored core. Specifically 4 or 6. The fast paced areial combat with a good mix of melee and ranged. The only one that ever came close was extreme vs maxiboost. But even that one felt a little off. And its so niche no one plays it. The people modding mobile suits into armored core 6 are my freaking heroes.

Yo, this opening really fits the game. Also i really liked the part 0:46 - 0:56 When lyrics goes with "the haze of doubt" and we see our buddy in his Steel haze Ortus. And after that lyrics when goes "you're like the LIGHT, bright shines from above into the DARK empty room of my heart" NIGHTFALL raven replaces Ortus (wich can be translated like sunrise or smt like that) Beautiful song from beautiful anime and the beautiful game. I think i need to go for my ng+++
