He’s great and I think he gets to explore his vocals a lot more with armored Saint than anthrax. Anthrax is too one dimensional with not enough room for Bush. Actually Armored Saint could have way more spacing too! Do you think Bush strains a bit too much?

Armored Saint were and continue to be fucking legendary. They would have been huge if it weren't for their shitty label and Dave dying. The only bad thing about this concert is A. MTV cut Delirious Nomad songs? WTF? and B. they had to play too fast to get through their set in time and it fucks with John's singing a bit.

This is one band I truly REGRET not seeing back in the day, although I did catch this concert on MTV, and remember the night well. We had a bunch of chicks over the house as we watched it and when "Isolation" was playing, some of the chicks started getting a little loose and it got pretty wild. We didn't have enough rooms in the house so we had to make do with whatever space we had, lol Now it's 28 years later and I ask myself where the hell it went, and feel a wistful watching this as it seems my hair is now flecked with slat and pepper gray and i am no longer 23 years old...

Equal in every way to their peers at the time, but stood alone really. Imo one of the best debut metal albums of all time. It's really weird how some of the best have been taken far too soon i.e. Randy Rhoads died 1982 a mere 25 years old, David Prichard died feb 1990 a mere 27 years old, Criss Oliva 1993 age 30, Dimebag murdered dec 8 2004 age 38, Jeff Hanneman died 2013 49 yrs old, Jimi Hendrix died 1970 age 27. These are some seriously amazing and influential guitarist taken from the music world far too soon. Imagine the metal that we have never heard because they are gone. The Metal world has suffered immensely because of this. I personally miss all these guys, I have been lucky enough to see Dime many times live, RR on the Diary tour, DP in 87 on this very tour, seen Slayer many times...Raining Blood and South of Heaven were epic, missed the Savatage tour in 87 by 1 day. Imagine what Hendrix could be doing or any of these guys. Metal would be way stronger than it is. just sux. Armored Saint are one of the few remaining killer metal bands of the 80's go see them while you can because these bands aren't going to be around forever.

There's a tribute DVD to Dave Earle Pritchard called "Armored Saint: A Trip Thru Red Times" that is very hard to get these days but well worth the investment. shane hucks You're welcome. The DVD also adds to my own collection of stuff, and yeah, Dave was amazing, especially on "Human Vulture". because the way he played the guitar sounded like he was doing two parts at once-while he was doing the chainsaw sound, he was filling in with little rhythm parts and it sounded like two guitars, and that was what really got me.

Brian Duff Sure do, man! Circa 1986, me and my buddies would heap into the car, go to the Sizzler or Ponderosa steakhouse\salad bar, then off to the local mall where we would hit up the arcade and the record store as well as the hobby shop, as well as hangin' with the chicks. Then back to the house to hit the NES and have all our friends over as we handed the controller back and forth while other friends would drift in and out with their girlfriends as we handed the NES controller back and forth between us It was a sea of carefree fun and a time sorely, I say SORELY missed.

Man, these guys rock NOW!! I saw them Thursday night at the Camden Underworld in London. Packed out and they absolutely smoked. Classic and new material right up to the 11pm curfew. (Got to look after your neighbours - a music venue licence is difficult to get but very easy to lose). UK music promoters say that we've lost 20% of our live music venues in the last 5/6 yeArs. KEEP MUSIC LIVE wherever you are in the world. Encourage your local pub/bar/theatre/village hall owner to put on some live gigs - always worth a go! AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL VENUES. Now.... Can U Deliver?
